General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Carly Wants Jason Back in The Mob with Sonny – Sam Fights Back Hard

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal on this week’s new episodes that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will soon go back on her word that she doesn’t want the new improved Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) back in the mob with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). This will bring her into conflict with Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco).

Here’s what we can expect according to GH spoilers. Carly will continue to be concerned about Sonny’s single-minded pursuit of vengeance for the death of Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan). Carly doesn’t know specifics since Sonny always tells her to stay out of his business, but she knows something is up.

In fact, Sonny is conspiring with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to get Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey V Parise) back to Port Chuck so they can have him testify against Julian Jerome (William deVry) for ordering the hit on Duke. Of course, Carly likely assumes Sonny is gunning for Julian and Carlos quite literally.

For a change (at least as far as GH fans see), Sonny is legitimately planning on bringing in Carlos so they can put Julian away – not killing him. The problem is, Sonny is working without all the info and without knowing all the players, much as he was with his plan to take down the gun runners that went bad.

General Hospital spoilers say that puts Sonny in a dangerous situation and while Carly doesn’t know all the details, she does know that Sonny is doing something that could get him hurt. In coming days, Carly will go to Jason to try and get him to help Sonny – and watch his back.

But Sam will come down hard on Carly for trying to pull Jason back into Sonny’s business. And if Sam and Jason learn from Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) that Sonny put a hit out on Jake Doe, that will not put Sam or Jason in any frame of mind to help Sonny.

Plus, Jason is all about the Quartermaines right now and getting back ELQ. The mob is not what Jason wants at all. And, very importantly, Sam doesn’t want that for him either. She seems to have gotten past the whole attracted to danger gambit.

Will Carly be hurt by Jason’s refusal to get involved? Will Carly and Sam end up in a catfight and Jason has to choose between them once and for all? Obviously, Jason will choose Sam. Is this the end of any hold that Carly has over Jason? (And can we all agree it’s long overdue?)

What do you think GH fans? Does Carly have any chance of talking Jason into helping – or protecting – Sonny as he pursues vengeance? Or will Jason wash his hands of the cartel for good?
