Is Heather Locklear in rehab? Or is she just ‘tying up some loose ends?’ That’s what fans want to know as there’s a new report indicated that the Hollywood actress that is starting off her new year at a rehab facility.
Heather released a statement to People Magazine that said, “I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life. Currently I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead.”
Some sources say that Heather Locklear is simply trying to avoid embarrassing and negative headlines. Of course, this isn’t the first time Heather has been in rehab. She’s been dealing with her personal demons for years now. Previous reports indicated that Heather secretly checked into rehab for her alleged alcohol abuse back in 2012. That was of course after her engagement to Jack Wagner ended. A 911 call was placed from her home. Sources close to the situation said that Heather was supposedly ‘out of control’ at the time.
If that weren’t enough, Heather also made headlines when she was rushed to the hospital after an alleged overdose. Close friends and family members were trying to get Heather to check into a medical facility, but she reportedly refused. She was also rushed to the hospital back in 2008 after she allegedly overdosed on pills. Sources later said it was a ‘false alarm.’ Heather ended up going to rehab anyway for anxiety and depression.
Nobody knows what is really going on behind closed doors except Heather herself. While no one knows exactly where Heather is, many close friends say they hope she gets the help and treatment she desperately needs. Everyone is concerned about her, including her 19-year-old daughter, Ava Sombora. Sources say her family wants to see her doing what she does best, and that’s going back to work. Heather Locklear is scheduled back on the small screen in season two of ‘Too Close to Home,’ which premieres on the TLC network this week.
