Nick Gordon Capitalizes On Whitney Houston's Death Anniversary

It looks like Nick Gordon is trying to keep his name in the headlines once again, this time using Whitney Houston’s death anniversary. Nick shared a never-before-seen photo of him along with Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown on the 5th year anniversary of the late singer’s death.

Nick shared the photo on his Instagram account and captioned it simply with, ‘I miss you. Can’t believe it’s been 5 years.” Whitney Houston helped raise Nick Gordon after he was abandoned by his mother when he was just 12. The singer died at the age of 48 after she was found unresponsive in her hotel room at the Beverly Hills hotel back in 2012. Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina was also found unresponsive in a bathtub in a home she shared with Nick back in 2015. She spent several months in a medical induced coma and passed away in July of that year.

Back in October, Nick Gordon was found legally responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s death after he failed to appear for a scheduled court date. A Fulton County judge in the case ordered Nick to pay more than $36 million dollars in a wrongful death suit to Bobbi Kristina’s family. He was accused of assault but also intentional infliction of emotional distress and transferring money from Bobbi Kristina Brown’s account to his own without authorization.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Nick Gordon has made headlines because of his questionable behavior. Last year fans were outraged when Nick posted private photos of Bobbi Kristina on his Twitter account. Some believed that he was trying to extend his fifteen minutes of fame at her expense. If that weren’t enough, he supposedly also photoshopped a Christmas Card of him and Bobbi Kristina that was actually taken at a Whitney Houston tribute concert. Many critics were disgusted with Nick’s card and said it was done in poor taste. This was done right after Bobbi Kristina’s death in 2015.

Yet, Nick doesn’t see it this way. Close friends and family members say that the media has made him into a scapegoat. He hates that so many people blame him for Bobbi Kristina’s death. Of course, Nick Gordon has not made any public comments about the case.
