Teen Mom 2’s Kailyn Lowry’s Book "Pride Over Pity" Release Date Revealed

Watch out Farrah Abraham, you’re not the only Teen Mom star that knows how to form sentences! Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry announced back in 2011 that she was working on a book, a memoir based on her life. And, it looks like her book is finally going to see the light of day (honestly, I think most of us forgot about it).

According to Kailyn her memoir titled, “Pride Over Pity,” will be released in 2014 (probably sooner than later, it only makes sense to release it during Season 5 of Teen Mom 2 which airs this month). The mother of two took to Twitter to let her fans know the book is almost complete. Kailyn tweeted, “Next set of editors notes is done! #PrideOverPity is coming soon! It’s been a long process. I’ll post something when I know for sure date but definitely 2014. It’s going through editing right now.” She also went on to mention that she hopes Pride Over Pity will make the NY Times Best Seller List. That dream will could actually become a reality, if Farrah Abraham can make the list, then there is no reason Kailyn can’t.

Back in 2011 when Kailyn first mentioned her book she made it clear that the autobiography wasn’t based on too many Teen Mom 2 events, it actually follows her life as child growing up and dealing with her mother’s addictions and her father abandoning her. If you follow Teen Mom 2 then you most likely remember that Kailyn had to move in with her first baby-daddy Jo Rivera when she was a pregnant teen because her own mother couldn’t take care of her.

So, will you be rushing out to purchase Kailyn Lowry’s autobiography “Pride Over Pity” or do you think she should leave the book writing to Teen Mom Farrah? Sound off in the comments below.
