After the shocking plot twists on The Young and the Restless as of late, it’s hard to believe Genoa City could get any crazier. But, according to The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of May 5th-9th, there is plenty more drama in store for Y&R fans, just in time for May Sweeps.
According to The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of May 5th-9th, things will really heat up between Jack and Kelly. However, Jack’s daughter Summer is not happy about her Dad’s new girlfriend and isn’t ready to let her father move on so quickly. As far as Summer is concerned Jack is off the market, he has girlfriend – she’s just currently comatose.
Since Stitch and Kelly arrived in Genoa City it was clear they shared some sort of sordid past, and as the months have gone by they have had conversations hinting about their history together. Billy overheard Stitch and Kelly discussing his secret and Billy knows that it is something horrible, and he made it his mission to find out what Stitch is hiding about his life before Genoa city. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that during the week of May 5th – 9th, Billy finally learns Stitch’s secret, and the truth about his past is exposed.
Chelsea and Chloe also have an interesting week in store for them. The former BFF’s, turned enemies, turned BFF’s again are both dealing with their losses in very different ways. Chelsea decides it is finally time to lay her husband to rest and plans a memorial service for Adam Newman. Meanwhile, Chloe is dealing with Delia’s death in a much more unorthodox way. She confined to Chelsea and Billy that she wanted to get pregnant again so she could have a replacement Delia, and during the week of May 5th-9th she puts her plan into motion, is the sperm donor down with her plan though?
The Young and the Restless spoilers for the upcoming week also tease that Sharon and Nick will continue trying to unravel her memories and learn what the terrible secret is she has been hiding from Nick. Victor Newman attempts to repair his relationship with Nikki, however this fight might not be fixable, Nikki believes this may be one of the worst stunts Victor has ever pulled.
Y&R fans have been speculating for months what Stitch’s big secret could be, and it looks like we may finally be finding out! What are your predictions? Some theories circulating around the internet are that Stitch and Kelly had an affair together, cheating on her husband and his wife. And other rumors even speculate that Stitch may be the driver that killed Kelly’s son!
A lot of spoilers are also making their rounds on the internet that the new Adam Newman may show up at his own memorial service, and we will finally get to see who has been cast as Michael Muhney’s replacement. Who do you hope to see filling Michael Muhney’s shoes? Most people I know want it to be Michael himself! Don’t recast Adam. I think that the actress that got rid of Adam should go, too. I probably won’t watch anymore if Adam is recast. Get rid of the troublemaker & there won’t be trouble. GH is picking up all these actors that are leaving. Watch out JFP as your audience dwindles.
During the Memorial they will probably show that same scene of Adam when he was a little boy & no acknowledgement of the adult Adam- Michael Muhney! The very least they could do is honor all the hard work he did as that character!
There is no guarantee that Adam will show up at his own memorial but it certainly would be a classic soap move. The question remains – does Jill Farren Phelps have the courage (or audacity!) to recast Michael Muhney’s role?

But if Ben killed her son, how is she o calm around him??? It’s hard to tell. Hoping it will be figured out shortly. This is the only real excitement, besides who is Victoria’s baby daddy. Hope that doesn’t draw out for 9 months!
The question on my mind is whether fans can accept a new Adam Newman, regardless of who is cast in the role? Will producers at Y&R risk opening that whole can of worms entailing MM’s firing? Perhaps they will leave Adam alive but in the shadows? Nevertheless we know that Adam is alive and we must expect that TPTB on The Young and the Restless will recast Muhney. After all, given the obvious disregard for fan preferences on the part of Jill Farren Phelps what else would you expect?
