“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may soon be in over his head with the two women he’s juggling – wife Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and new flame Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpi).
But could Dante find himself in double trouble with a two-time turn as baby daddy to both women in coming weeks? We know Lulu can’t turn up pregnant out of the blue, but Valerie sure could and might try it out.
If Valerie can get herself knocked up – and she may already be trying – she’ll be assured that not only will she be in Dante’s life forever, but she can compete for his heart on even footing with Lulu. Rocco is a big deal to Dante.
Even if Dante is angry at Lulu, their son ties them inexorably together. Valerie may have a twisted idea that having a child with Dante would create the same bond with her so she could fight more effectively to steal Lulu’s hubby.
What would be ironic is if Dante’s prior assumption that she was pregnant gave Valerie the idea to toss out her birth control and have unprotected sex with Dante to try and get pregnant to secure her place with him.
The idea may have grown on Valerie once Dante brought it up – who knows – she may be sitting around having fantasies about her and Dante and a little son or daughter. Valerie has very little family left (since she’s estranged from Lulu).
The notion of creating a new family with Dante could be alluring to Valerie despite the fact that she’s stealing her cousin’s man – and is pulling a “Single White Female” move on Lulu (remember the 90s steal your life stalker movie?).
But don’t think Lulu will just give up on her man – we can expect her to fight back hard. Most of Lulu’s ire has been focused at Dante (aside from that “whore” comment she made to Val a while back), but that will change.
“General Hospital” spoilers indicate that Lulu will see Dante as a prize to be won, rather than a husband to attack over cheating. Lulu may try a different approach which is an interesting flip since it was Dante, previously, who was scrambling to apologize.
But after Lulu slapped him with separation papers then attacked him for acting single, Dante has had enough. Anger will replace Dante’s remorse and will stun Lulu. She’ll realize she has to fight for her man or lose him for good.
And that’s where a pregnancy plan could also work for Lulu. There’s still an embryo sitting over at General Hospital so Lulu could go have it implanted as a way to woo Dante back. Except she may be stunned to find she can’t implant.
Why? Dante talked to a lawyer buddy to double check and make sure both parents have to consent to the implantation. But could Lulu try to get around this rule by lying and saying Dante is at work and couldn’t make the appointment?
If Lulu uses their embryo without him signing off, look for Dante to feel manipulated and betrayed – which would work heavily in Valerie’s favor. Of course, Dante might also suspect Valerie of manipulation if she turns up preggers too.
And to further complicate things, what if Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) swapped the Dante-Lulu embryo with the Stavros-Lulu embryo? That would be a fitting final scheme to play out just after Helena’s “death.”
Dante had better watch out – he could be a baby daddy times two come Christmas – with both of the women in his life pregnant. Can you imagine Lulu and Valerie both hormonal, pregnant and clawing each other’s eyes out over Dante?
