Johnny Depp is one of the most sought-after actors in the world, and highest paid, but believe it or not Amber Heard’s hubby is basically broke. He obviously wasn’t in a good place when he signed onto do the latest installment of the Pirates of Caribbean – what with his marriage woes and battle with booze. But Johnny Depp didn’t have a choice. He desperately needed the money!
When you take into consideration Johnny Depp’s dozens of hit movies and hundreds of millions of dollars in box office paydays, it’s unimaginable that he could have squandered away that much money – but according to this week’s edition of Star Magazine, he did. According to one of Star Magazine’s inside sources, “It’s rumored that he gave Vanessa $150 Million and he is panicking about his bank account. He is spending a fortune on Amber to keep her happy. Legal fees [for Amber’s recent arrest in Australia] aside, his lifestyle costs a fortune. Their entire relationship is based on him spoiling her.”
Johnny Depp has tried to combat his financial woes by putting his wife Amber Heard on a strict monthly allowance – but she seems to blow through the $25,000 that he sets aside for her at a rapid pace, according to Star Magazine. Johnny Depp has always been insecure about his relationship with Amber Heard and convinced that she is cheating on him every second that they are not together (although that’s not entirely impossible).
So it isn’t exactly shocking news that he has been showering Amber with money and gifts to keep her interested in him. Johnny is nearly double Amber’s age – so maybe he thinks he needs to overcompensate for their age difference.
