General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) will continue their search for answers. They’d naturally like to track down Faison (Anders Hove), but there’s also a traitor on the loose. This person is the reason Jason’s alive, but his or her motives aren’t exactly pure. Jason was still kept at clinic for five years, so it’s clear that the traitor also had an agenda.
Drew (Billy Miller) definitely wants updates as this investigation moves along. He’s worried that his family could be put in harm’s way. Of course, there’s a chance that Jason has already met the traitor. GH hasn’t revealed much about the mysterious Peter August, but what we know so far is pretty shady.
When Drew first met this slick businessman, he commented on how Peter became available just when they needed him. Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Drew thought it was a lucky break, but it probably wasn’t luck at all! Peter most likely knew exactly what he was doing when he showed up in Port Charles.
There’s a reason Peter chose to apply at Aurora Media. He was just a little too inquisitive about all the twin drama. Peter disguised his questions as concern for the company, but he was obviously fishing for info. By taking this position at Aurora, Peter has been given an opportunity to hide in plain sight. Peter earned Drew’s trust, so now he can monitor the situation and plot his next move.
Once Lulu (Emme Rylan) exposes 2014’s rigged election, Peter will undoubtedly put her on staff at Aurora. Since Lulu’s becoming a big-time investigative journalist, will she find another scoop right under her nose? It’d be interesting if she developed suspicions about Peter and passed them along to Jason.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Jason will keep digging and Drew will pitch in when necessary. Faison was obviously involved in the memory mapping study and Helena (Constance Towers) has both hands in it as well. That could bring in a Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) connection or even some surprise associates.
This mystery will slowly unravel, but it could all start with exposing the traitor. Will Jason discover that Peter has some intriguing secrets? Did sneaky Pete betray Faison?
