The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 9, tease that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will have a lot on her mind. She’s set to do a recording session, but her nerves will get the best of her. Tessa will tell Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Devon (Bryton James) that maybe this was a mistake. She’ll suggest that perhaps they should do it another time.
Tessa will likely be thinking about Crystal (Morgan Obenreder), who phones her looking for help in Tuesday’s episode. As usual, the call gets disconnected. Crystal may be in Tessa’s thoughts when it’s time to record on Wednesday. It seems these two have a history that connects them.
Tessa will also battle the typical anxiety of a situation like this. This is a huge step for her career and a lot is on the line. Tessa doesn’t want to blow her big shot. As the stress takes a toll, Mariah will offer support. She’ll probably boost Tessa’s confidence and convince her to belt out a tune.
Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) will find herself caught in Crystal’s drama. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will meet up with Crystal and promise to help her. Suddenly, a menacing thug will appear. He’ll demand to know who Sharon is and what she’s doing there.
Sharon will try to get herself out of this jam, but she may run into more trouble. Will Sharon and Crystal need a hero to save the day? Later this week, Y&R spoilers state that Tessa will contact Zack (Ryan Ashton) for assistance. Since it looks like Zack played a role in the prostitution ring, perhaps he has some useful info.
Elsewhere, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will attempt to rain on Juliet’s (Laur Allen) parade. Despite Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) many flaws, Juliet may still have her eye on him. She might mention something along those lines, but Hilary will dismiss the idea that Cane would ever leave Lily (Christel Khalil).
Juliet will contend that Cane doesn’t have a choice. She’ll note that Lily already kicked Cane out of the house. Hilary may be surprised by the news, but what will she do next? Will she downplay Juliet’s chances of being with Cane or feed her desires instead? Hilary will undoubtedly come up with some sort of scheme. She always does!
