The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 19, tease that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will continue to have doubts about her relationship. She’ll finally decide she just can’t take it anymore. Mariah has to know what’s in Devon’s (Bryton James) heart or she won’t be able to move forward with him.
It seems Mariah would rather risk hearing the painful truth than spend her time in a loveless romance. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will demand an honest answer from Devon. She’ll ask how he actually feels about her and hope for the best.
Devon will think for a moment before delivering his response. He has to choose his words carefully or he could cause more damage. Devon is obviously hung up on Hilary, but he appears to be in denial about it. He probably believes he can get past any lingering feelings.
Will Devon assure Mariah that he’s interested in her and wants to see where this leads? Would she really buy that? Regardless, Mariah and Devon will likely fizzle before long. Y&R may have a different path in mind for these lovable characters.
Meanwhile, Ravi (Abhi Sinha) will have some tough news for Ashley (Eileen Davidson). She’ll definitely wonder what kind of bomb Ravi is about to drop. Ravi will look somber as he suggests this is more personal than professional. He’ll add that it’s about Ashley’s mother.
Dina (Marla Adams) is keeping a few secrets, including the reason Graham (Max Shippee) is so involved in her life. Since Dina has been showing some signs of dementia, Ravi may have uncovered a shocking diagnosis. Perhaps Dina needs Graham around to help before her mental health fades.
Elsewhere, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Dina will have a heated confrontation. She’ll be furious over the way her son is treating her. Jack will apologize, but Dina won’t want to hear it. She’ll eventually deliver a hard slap as her rage boils over.
Jack and Ashley have been bonding with Dina lately, but this could be a bit of a setback. Can they achieve family peace again? Is Dina mainly lashing out because of her own failing health?
