General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we’ve got major comings and goings news to share. For starters, Anders Hove will appear as Faison this week. We’ve been seeing glimpses of the vicious villain, but expect a full shot soon enough. Faison will interact with several characters during his stint, so stay tuned for all the mayhem.
GH fans will also be seeing a lot more of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine). Both Benard and Antoine have reportedly signed new contracts with the ABC soap. That’s nice to hear since some big departures are looming. We have to talk about those as well.
General Hospital chose not to renew Genie Francis’ (Laura) contract, which basically means she got fired. They’re keeping Laura on recurring status, but this is still a snub. Instead of emerging as the victorious mayor of Port Charles, Laura has to head off to France and care for bedridden Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel).
Ryan Paevey (Nathan) will also be off canvas in the near future, but word has it he inked a deal with Hallmark Channel. It sounds like they made Paevey an enticing offer and he just couldn’t pass it up. Many GH viewers will miss Nathan, but that’s just the way it goes sometimes. You can’t blame a guy for choosing his best option.
Proof Nathan winds up dead can be seen in this leaked photo from Kimberly McCullough’s Instagram below: Sam (Kelly Monaco) is dressed in black and sitting on a pool table at The Floating Rib – behind her are pictures of Nathan that look very much like what we see at gathering after a funeral – or at wake, prior to a funeral. This fits with all the spoilers on Nathan’s fate. So this leaked behind the scenes photo simply shows savvy CDL fans what we have been telling you for some time.
Megan Ward also just came and went as Connie. She popped up during Ava’s (Maura West) special episode last week. Maurice Benard spoke to Soap Opera Digest about Ward’s brief comeback. “It went pretty quickly so we didn’t get to talk much, but it was great to see her,” Benard said. He added that there was some “interesting stuff going on” in those scenes, so “it was fun.”
Bryan Craig also made a surprising appearance as Morgan, which sparked speculation about a long-term return to the show. Since huge exits are happening, you never know when GH might lock Craig down for good. Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny would certainly be happy to have their son back. Maybe it’ll happen for them down the road.
General Hospital spoilers hint that the next few months will bring plenty excitement, so perhaps some other comebacks will heat things up. We’ll give you updates as more GH details emerge. Stick with the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
