The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 17, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will reach a decision about his future in Genoa City. He’ll determine that this just isn’t the place for him, especially since he’s clearly making his family uncomfortable. Adam doesn’t know if he should even try to be the person he used to be. He’s not sure that man is really worth fighting for.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will undoubtedly think Adam should stick around and keep trying to recover his memories. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will agree GC is where Adam belongs. He’ll deliver a passionate plea in hopes of keeping his son around, but Adam’s mind will be made up. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will leave the tack house and prepare to catch a flight back to Las Vegas.
Of course, no one can be sure what’s real and what’s an act with Adam. Y&R has raised plenty of suspicions, particularly through Adam’s secret partner. He’s been in touch with someone mysterious, so it’ll be interesting to see who that is and what they’re up to.
In the meantime, Adam will take a bullet on his way out of town! The Young and the Restless spoilers point to that happening next week, May 20 through May 24, but we’ll mention it now in case it’s the Friday cliffhanger. That seems like the kind of thing that would really make fans want to tune in Monday!
Over with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), he’ll learn whether he’s going to be a father or not. The results of Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) paternity test will be in, so Rey will finally have his answer. There’s a good chance the results will reveal Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) as the “baby daddy,” but will those results be legit? The test could easily be altered or there could even be an honest mistake.
Either way, a paternity test always leaves the door open for revelations later. Y&R can use this if they ever want to stir up a little more Rosales family drama. Elsewhere, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will make a significant choice. She’ll decide something that relates to her future with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), so it sounds like she may push her doubts aside and accept his proposal.
