Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will have a sizzling Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) dream, but he’ll have to hide his forbidden desires. It seems Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) isn’t the woman this detective really wants, but Rafe certainly won’t want to rock the boat in his new romance.
Rafe knows Nicole is a married woman, so he’s accepted that she’s not an option. If Nicole had been single and looking for new love, Rafe never would’ve gone down this road with Ava.
It’s true that Rafe and Ava have formed a connection, but DOOL writers gave Rafe a connection to Nicole first.
Nicole and Rafe would’ve pursued it if she hadn’t been committed to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), but Rafe understood that he had to respect boundaries.
It’s Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) who has no sense of boundaries at all since he persuaded drunk, vulnerable Nicole to sleep with him.
Of course, Nicole has to take responsibility for her own actions, so we’re not giving her a pass.
Even so, Nicole only landed in this predicament because she was missing Eric and battling jealous feelings over Rafe. It led to the perfect cheating storm with the wrong man since Xander was the one willing to hit the sheets with Nicole that night.
However, Days spoilers say Rafe will apparently dream he’s taken Nicole to bed during the week of June 21-25. There’ll definitely be a dream of some sort, so we can only imagine it’ll be steamy!
Rafe should be pretty startled when he wakes up – perhaps right next to Ava instead. This could force Rafe to lie and cover up why he’s so flustered.
Days spoilers suggest Rafe’s attraction to Nicole could grow stronger in the coming weeks. These dreams could also happen more frequently as Rafe deals with wanting what he can’t have.
It turns out Rafe could get a shot at having Nicole for real sooner or later. Nicole’s marriage is set to implode over the cheating revelation at some point, so that could give Rafe the chance he needs to pursue her.
Ava’s deceiving Rafe about helping Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) escape, so that could give Rafe the ideal excuse to dump Ava and move on with Nicole eventually.
For now, Rafe will just mull over what this hot dream of his means and try to control the desires that are burning within.
