Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, February 3 Recap - Vivian Stunned By Ivan's Baby Gift - Gwen Gets A Shock

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 3, reveal that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was seriously offended as Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) tried to buy her off.

As Jack and Gwen stood arguing at the nurses’ station at the hospital, Gwen slapped Jack as he dangled a check in front of her, yelling that he didn’t get to pay her off like he did her mother.

Jack insisted that he never paid off Gwen’s mother, and he fumed that Tiffany Rizczech had obviously raised Gwen to hate him. Gwen fumed, saying that it was true, and that she hated Jack even more now.

At the Horton house, Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) cried and lamented over the recent turn of events, noting that Tiffany had been awful.

Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) comforted her grandmother, while Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) stood silently by. Laura asked Abigail for some time alone with Jennifer, and Abigail took off.

Before Jennifer could say anything, Jack walked in to say that the DNA test came back positive, and that he was Gwen’s father. Jennifer left Jack and Laura alone to talk, and off-screen, Laura told Jack the whole story about paying off Tiffany for all those years.

Jack was very angry, and he yelled at Laura about playing God and being cruel and heartless.

Jack fumed that Gwen turned out the way she did because of what Laura did, and he said that it was all Laura’s fault. Jack seriously lashed out at Laura, who left in tears.

Later, Jennifer returned to the room and comforted Jack, who said that Gwen was his daughter and that the damage had been done.

At the Salem Inn, Gwen was alone when Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) came to the door promising to do anything to bring Gwen down. Chad took out a hankie and wiped off Gwen’s eye bruise makeup.

Gwen said that she had a lot in store for Abigail going forward, and Chad warned Gwen not to go anywhere near Abigail.

Just then, Abigail walked in, and after some bickering with Gwen, she told Gwen that Jack hadn’t paid off her mother, but she knew who had. Gwen said that she’d kill the person responsible, and Abigail said she wasn’t going to disclose who the person was.

Abigail told Gwen that her mother was the person who lied to her, and with that Chad and Abigail left.

Outside the Salem Inn, Abigail told Chad that it was her grandmother who paid off Tiffany, while inside Gwen wondered if Jack really didn’t know about her all these years.

In the park in Chicago, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) continued their tense conversation with Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt).

Lani and Eli didn’t have any luck getting information out of Dr. Raynor, so they went back to Dr. Raynor’s hotel room where she had met with the man who blackmailed her into taking the twins from the hospital.

In the hotel room, Lani talked with Dr. Raynor, while Eli checked with the hotel clerk and looked at the security footage from the hotel. That turned out to be a bust, and Dr. Raynor went through everything again and described the man to Lani and Eli as meticulous but deferential.

Eventually, Dr. Raynor said that she overheard the man on the phone with someone he called, “Madame.”

The authorities came to haul Dr. Raynor off to the police station, while Lani and Eli regrouped. Lani said that she knew who the man was – Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) who worked for Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano). “Vivian Alamain took our babies,” Lani said.

Somewhere, Ivan brought a baby carriage into the place where he and Vivian were staying.

Vivian didn’t know what Ivan was doing with a baby carriage, and Ivan explained that this was his attempt to redeem himself for what he did with Stephan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) when they were babies. Vivian was puzzled.

“You think this is a do-over?” Vivian asked. “Where did you get those children and who are their parents?” Vivian wondered. Ivan lied and said that he didn’t steal the babies, and that their parents were in no position to raise them.

Ivan urged Vivian to look at the babies and think about the future they’d all have together. “Those babies are your destiny,” Ivan gushed.

Eventually, Ivan wore Vivian down and she took a peek at the babies tentatively. Vivian’s face immediately lit up and she looked at Ivan happily.
