General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) may want some answers about Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) mystery man. Nina’s return to Port Charles could put her Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) secret in jeopardy, so let’s consider how all this will play out.
It appears Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will resort to using Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) secret steaminess as leverage.
Once Jax reveals what he knows and holds it over Michael, he should have no problem working out proper visitation between Nina and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
When Nina realizes she could spend plenty of time with her grandson upon her return, it’ll jolt her back to reality. Nina can’t stay in Nixon Falls forever, so it looks like it’s time to say goodbye to “Mike” and head home.
Of course, Nina won’t want to blow things up by revealing Sonny is alive. That’d bring major backlash and would rob Sonny of the peaceful life he’s found, which isn’t something Nina wants him to give up.
Nina would rather see Sonny steer clear of the mob and continue down a better path.
GH spoilers say Nina will come home alone, but it looks like Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will sense a shift in Nina. She may think Nina’s hiding something and could perhaps suspect that it’s a new man in her life.
Nina’s reaction might confirm that and leave Ava wondering just who Nina’s fallen for.
Carly will actually try to be civil with Nina, so she may argue that peace is what’s best for Wiley. Although Carly won’t be pleased with Jax’s sneaky strategies and intimidation tactics, she should accept the outcome.
In the grand scheme of things, Nina hanging out with Wiley isn’t the end of the world. Carly may see that after all the mob craziness she’s been trying to handle lately.
Carly may come to accept that Wiley having another grandma to love him doesn’t have to be such a bad thing.
After Carly has a surprisingly pleasant chat with Nina, it should rev up Nina’s guilt. However, the real trouble may come after Ava makes an admission to Carly.
There’ll be a change Ava observes and mentions to Carly during the week of June 14-18. That brings us back to Ava’s suspicions about Nina and what she’s been up to off canvas.
Ava might admit to Carly that she thinks Nina has fallen for someone besides Jax. Carly is the queen of nosiness, so she may resolve to get to the bottom of this. Naturally, Nina also runs the risk of Sonny himself following her to Port Charles and unleashing chaos!
One way or another, the truth about who Nina’s been spending so much of her time with will come out. As other GH news comes in, we’ll provide updates.
