General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, June 17, tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will seek the lab where Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is stashed while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) have a Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) showdown. Hamilton Finn (Micheal Easton) will also fight for a new cure, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
For starters, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will try to talk some sense into Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). Jordan just announced her resignation plans, but Laura won’t think that’s necessary.
Laura will push Jordan to keep her job as police commissioner, but Jordan may admit Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was right about her losing the public’s trust.
It looks like Jordan will still be involved in police business in the coming weeks, so maybe Laura can change her mind. Laura will declare that “this is about something much bigger,” so she may make a passionate speech and convince Jordan that Port Charles needs her.
In the meantime, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will get the feeling that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is putting on an act. After Josslyn says something to her bestie on Thursday, Trina will suggest it’d be great if Joss actually meant it.
Perhaps Jossly will fake enthusiasm for attending PCU since she’s still dwelling on what might’ve been at Southern Coastal University.
However, we should note that some good news is headed Josslyn’s way on Thursday’s episode, so maybe she’ll be taken off the waitlist and given a chance at the future she wants.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Finn will make a major admission to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). Cyrus’ comment just got the wheels turning for Finn, who’ll tell Gregory that he thinks he knows why his treatment didn’t work.
It looks like Finn had a lightbulb moment and understands that the paternity test results were wrong.
Finn may insist that Gregory must be Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) bio dad after all and push for a DNA sample so he can whip up the real cure. As for Anna, she’ll fret over the locked service elevator door as Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) appears.
Anna will wonder if there’s another way into the lab down in the sub-basement, but Liz may try to throw Anna off the trail.
GH fans just saw a newly created flashback that explained how dead Peter wound up down there, so Liz will have to handle this Anna crisis as best as she can.
Next, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will wonder what Jason’s intentions are regarding “Britta.” She’ll probably insist Britt is dealing with a lot right now and doesn’t need Jason playing games with her heart on top of that.
Liesl may contend that Jason needs to decide whether he’s in or out – though she won’t mind the idea of Britt having someone to dote on her. Jason was there when Britt needed her and even arranged for Liesl to visit her in Canada, so Obrecht will be on his side.
Even so, Liesl has to play the role of protective mom here and look out for Britt’s well-being.
Jason may assure Liesl that his intentions are only good ones. He might argue that he simply enjoys Britt’s company and knows she feels the same way. Jason and Britt just need to keep doing what they’re doing without any pressure, so hopefully that’s exactly what they’ll do.
After Jason shuts down Carly’s questions about his new romance with Britt, Carly will track Britt down and offer a warning. “I’m worried it’s going to be a problem for you,” Carly tells Britt on Thursday’s preview video.
Carly may act like Jason’s dangerous lifestyle and private nature are going to be issues, but Britt knows what she’s getting herself into. She just went on the run with Jason, so it’s not like she’s scared of a little danger and adventure.
Britt also seems to find Jason’s unusual personality charming – and she knows how to get him to open up better than almost anyone. Maybe Britt will argue that Carly’s the only one with the problem here!
