The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, October 1, teases that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will open up to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) as he shares the truth about his birth mom crisis. Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will also gear up for a new mess, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
At the cabin, Hope will give Finn a safe space to spill his true feelings. She’ll understand the Sheila situation is complicated and won’t be there to judge. Hope will just want to offer a sympathetic ear and some guidance if Finn wants it.
Finn doesn’t feel like he can really come clean to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) since she loathes Sheila to the core. Since Finn doesn’t have that same horrible history with Sheila, it’s not as easy for him to hate her.
Finn is pushing Sheila away out of respect for Steffy and to protect the kids, but it’s hard when he’s wanted to know his birth mother his whole life.
Hope will see how torn Finn is as he confides in her. She’ll be happy to offer support and experience this bonding moment with Finn on Friday’s B&B episode.
As for Steffy, she’ll hang out with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray).
Kelly will love the extra time with her parents, but the adults should also have a chance to squeeze in a meaningful conversation.
Liam and Steffy will have an opportunity to discuss Sheila as well, so Steffy may confide some worries. Although Finn is standing by his wife for now, Sheila is relentless.
Steffy may fear Finn’s willpower won’t be strong enough to withstand Sheila’s pressure, but Liam might push Steffy to give her husband some credit.
Regardless, Liam is always going to be there for Steffy whenever she calls. Steffy and Liam will remain in the co-parent and friend zone for now, but there’s always a chance of a deeper reconnection with these two.
At Sheila’s hotel, she’ll rely on a new pal’s words of wisdom. Keith (Nick Waters) is the nosy assistant manager who’ll no doubt ask Sheila questions about her extended stay again.
Sheila will misrepresent the facts and gets some advice that isn’t the greatest, but Keith will mean well!
While Sheila plots more chaos and destruction, Eric Forrester (John McCook) will defend Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Ridge isn’t going to understand Eric’s arrangement with Quinn and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) at all, but Eric will at least want him to respect it.
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will also get the scoop from Katie Logan (Heather Tom), who just got confirmation on Eric’s ED and this agreement.
Katie just told her sister that Quinn was being honest, but Brooke will have a hard time accepting anything about this controversial deal.
There’ll be more Eric drama playing out once Monday rolls around, but it looks like Friday could set the stage for it by wrapping up the latest confrontations.
