The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of April 19-23 teases that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will refuse to cooperate when Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) makes a plea for their marriage.
There’ll be another heated argument between them as Rey stands his ground on Sharon always putting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) ahead of their relationship.
Rey will move out for the night with the potential to move out permanently. He’ll also make a trip back to Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse, where Rey will have a pitch to make.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will want to use Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as a way to trick Adam and draw him out in the open.
Rey will think Chelsea needs to bring Connor home from boarding school and act like he’s battling a serious illness. Since Connor matters so much to Adam, Rey will hope this might convince Adam to emerge from his hiding spot to check on his son.
Chelsea will know this is incredibly risky, but she’ll move forward with what Rey has in mind and could set herself up for disaster. Speaking of disasters, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will feel like his life has become one due to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
Ashland will continue to target Jabot, so Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will confront the “Locke-ness Monster” about spreading lies about the company.
Kyle will have a panicked Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) to contend with as well as an insecure Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will experience her first bout of morning sickness while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) supports Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway).
Although Abby will be ecstatic over a call from Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), it’ll only make it that much harder when she hangs up and has to worry about him all over again.
Other Y&R spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have another heated showdown with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). That’ll pave the way for Ashland to meet with Victor and push for renegotiations regarding Cyaxares.
However, Victor will maintain that the deal they previously agreed upon was fair. He won’t think the wrongful accusations against Adam should affect the price of this acquisition, but Ashland will vehemently disagree.
When it becomes clear that Victor isn’t going to budge, Ashland will call off the deal and take Cyaxares off the market.
It looks like Ashland will have a health crisis moments later since he’ll grip his chest in pain. Victor will somehow use this situation to his advantage, so how exactly will he handle this?
It’s possible Victor will be ruthless enough to make Ashland sign something before he gets him medical attention.
It’s also possible Victor’s reaction will be a swift and kind one – leading Ashland to decide he needs the repay the favor by honoring the original agreement. Either way, Ashland may have a heart attack or at least some sort of cardiac episode that proves concerning.
Across town, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will play Cupid. After chatting with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and learning what he desires most in a relationship, Lola may report back to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and coach her on how to be Nate’s perfect woman.
Of course, Lola might also set a little romantic trap to bring Elena and Nate together at Society. She might even push Nate and Elena to have dinner together under the guise of testing some new recipes. Whatever the case, Lola doesn’t seem ready to let Elena and Nate throw in the towel just yet.
As for Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), she’ll continue to work on Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) case and will get further drawn into what could be a dangerous web.
There’ll also be some warm moments between Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). As Faith starts court-ordered rehab, Nikki will reflect on her own drinking problem and how she got a grip on it.
Nikki will have plenty of advice and support, so Faith will be grateful. You can bet Faith and Moses Winters’ (Jacob Aaron Gaines) feelings for each other will grow quickly as well, so there’ll be a lot going on during the week of April 19-23!
