General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) marriage proposal should lead to a bombshell. Curtis is still married to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and can’t wed Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) yet, so that’ll bring some love triangle drama.
In the June 6 episode, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) gave Curtis a big push toward proposing.
As far as Stella is concerned, Portia has stepped up for their family and proven she deserves to be part of it.
That’s why Stella wondered when Curtis was going to make it official.
Curtis argued that his divorce with Jordan was too fresh, but something tells us Stella planted an idea that he’ll latch onto soon enough.
Now that Stella has made this proposal suggestion, it probably won’t be long until Curtis gets down on one knee.
Curtis has been with Portia for quite some time by soap standards – not to mention they bought a house together.
Portia and Curtis are a very committed couple, so the next step is getting engaged and planning their nuptials.
Of course, that’ll set the stage for Curtis to realize his new wedding will have to be put on hold.
Curtis and Jordan’s divorce papers were never filed thanks to Stella, who can’t remember due to her stroke and the fuzzy details.
As an extra twist, Portia is keeping a massive secret regarding Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity.
Although Portia tried to cover up the truth, it’s obvious Jordan still suspects there was more to Portia’s basement confession about Trina’s father.
Once Jordan learns she’s still married to Curtis, she may beg for another shot with him.
Jordan still loves Curtis and would no doubt like to get their future back on track.
Perhaps Jordan will get her chance after Curtis finds out Portia kept Trina from him all these years.
Curtis is clearly Trina’s bio dad, so that shocker could turn him against Portia and send him right back in Jordan’s direction.
Things are about to get messy now that GH is building toward Curtis’ new marriage proposal, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
