General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, July 15 Update – Laura Exits Port Charles – Sonny Blames Nina – Drew Strikes Out with Carly

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, July 15, teases that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will exit Port Charles while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) blames Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) – or at least tells her to blame herself. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also strike out with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), so here’s what GH viewers can expect.

First, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will help Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) as they try to clear Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) name.

Ava will see what she can find out at Wyndemere since the bartender just confronted Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), but she’ll take longer than Curtis expected.

The delay will leave Curtis curious about what’s going on, but the bright side is it’ll bring a chance to grow closer to Marshall.

Curtis will learn more about his dad’s history, so he should feel more connected to Marshall by the end of their conversation.

At Wyndemere, Esme will blast the bartender for approaching her at the house where they could get caught.

It turns out someone could indeed see them based on Friday’s preview clip, which appears to show Ava walking in on the faceoff.

Esme may scramble to offer an explanation, but she’s obviously losing control of her plan to get Trina locked up.

This bartender will have no intention of landing in more trouble and will be tempted by Curtis’ deal soon enough.

At home, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will forbid Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) from showing up at the courthouse.

Stella may argue that she wants to support Trina, but Portia may have some good reasons for forcing Stella to keep her distance.

It’s best if Stella doesn’t get too stressed out for the sake of her health, so that could be a factor.

Another problem could be Stella’s hot temper since Diane Jenkins (Carolyn Hennesy) talked about how Trina needed a calm, supportive team standing behind her.

Regardless, it looks like Stella will surrender and agree to support Trina from afar.

As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll push Trina to spill the beans about Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) being her alibi in the cemetery.

Trina will urge Josslyn to keep her mouth shut, but Joss will have a hard time doing that since this news could help Diane win the case.

Next, let’s talk about Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and this tricky Laura dilemma.

Valentin thwarted his own attempt to poison Laura after rethinking Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) plan.

Later, Valentin intervened before Victor’s sniper could take Laura out.

Now Valentin has settled on a plot that’ll get Laura out of town while sparing her life – though Laura will have a bad feeling about it.

Laura got a phone call and seemed aghast over some updates on her mother.

Maybe Valentin arranged a minor accident or some other crisis that’ll demand Laura’s attention for a while.

Laura will decide to leave Port Charles for her mom’s sake, but she’ll grow concerned about what might happen to her friends and family members while she’s gone.

Part of Laura will worry that she shouldn’t take off right now, but she’ll ultimately know it’s the right call and will get Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) reassurance.

Valentin will be relieved once Laura is out of town and away from the dangerous schemes that Victor keeps carrying out.

In the meantime, Carly will argue with Drew and make her stance clear regarding Nina.

Drew might think Carly should reconsider and accept Nina’s hotel proposal, but Carly’s stubborn side will win out.

There’s no chance of Carly caving in after all the chaos Nina’s caused for her family. It’d be disloyal in Carly’s eyes – not to mention she doesn’t want Nina to feel like she’s got some sort of upper hand.

Drew will still hate the situation Carly’s stuck in, but she’ll face the facts and bid her half of the Metro Court farewell.

Elsewhere, Nina will be taken aback when Sonny lashes out again. Sonny will think Nina only has herself to blame for the latest round of drama with Carly.

Nina will no doubt take offense when her motives are questioned, so she’ll spar with Sonny and face a bit of a romantic setback.

Sonny and Nina will get back on track soon, but they’ll certainly have some issues to sort out along the way.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly will have to find some new projects to keep her busy, so stay tuned to see what’s ahead.
