General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, July 28 Update – Sonny Judges Dex – Ava’s Fury Explodes – Sasha Surprises Michael & Willow

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, July 28, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will face a Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) decision while Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) fury explodes. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also surprise Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), so here’s what viewers can look forward to.

At the courthouse, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will be more than ready to testify and fight for herself on the stand.

Before Trina’s turn comes, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) should be called as a witness – and she’ll definitely be eager to cause more trouble!

It looks like Ava will corner Esme and dare her to even think about making things worse for Trina.

Ava will make it clear that Esme won’t like the consequences if she does.

Of course, Ava won’t realize that Esme has a very personal shocker to deliver.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will race to find Ava before Esme can spill the beans, but will he make it in time?

Whether Nikolas reveals the truth or Esme beats him to it, Ava’s going to face a flood of intense emotions.

It won’t be long until Ava’s anger erupts, but Nikolas will turn on the waterworks and try to apologize for his massive mistake.

However, there’s no excuse for Nikolas sleeping with Esme and nothing he could say would ever fix this.

Ava agreed to call off the divorce recently, but she seems poised to reverse that decision.

Esme will get what’s coming to her eventually, but Ava will want to rip Nikolas to shreds first.

Most of us can agree Nikolas deserves to suffer for sleeping with Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) love interest – and Spencer himself should agree with that soon.

As for Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), she’ll focus on the angle of Esme’s flimsy alibi.

Esme left the room at one point during all the cabin chaos, so Diane will use that fact to her advantage.

There’s supposed to be a truly jaw-dropping witness as well – someone that’ll surprise Trina and pretty much everyone else in that courtroom.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) might squeeze Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in as a last-minute addition since she can link Esme to the drug given to Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno).

At GH, Willow will discuss her case with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and await some new test results.

Until Willow finds out why her white blood cell count is higher than normal, she’ll push TJ to keep quiet around Michael.

When Willow and Michael bump into Sasha, she may realize they’re talking about their impending bundle of joy.

Sasha will admit to knowing about the pregnancy since she overheard an OB-GYN consult being ordered for Willow’s room.

Michael and Willow will acknowledge that Sasha’s been through a rough time ever since Liam Corbin’s death, but Sasha may argue that life goes on.

Willow and Michael deserve a happy, healthy baby – especially since Willow once lost a child of her own.

Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will contemplate his future.

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will have some advice regarding Dante’s career and will perhaps push him to take things to the next level somehow.

That should push Dante to take things to the next level in his personal life as well.

Dante will catch Sam off guard with a suggestion that’ll involve a big step forward in their relationship.

It sounds like Dante will suggest moving in together, so Sam should get on board.

Since Sam and Dante’s romance is blooming nicely, there’s no reason they shouldn’t take that plunge.

Across town, Sonny will appreciate Dex stepping up with Felty (Brian Norris) and dealing with all the Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) drama.

Since Dex got Josslyn to get rid of the video, Sonny may get updates and praise his newest hire for that.

Dex will be glad to serve as muscle anytime Sonny needs him, but he’ll want to take on bigger tasks, too.

That’ll leave Sonny with a decision to make regarding Dex and his future with the organization.

Sonny will start to trust Dex a bit more and will think he might be a good Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) substitute.

Nobody can ever really replace Jason, but Sonny will still be willing to give Dex a shot.

It’ll be Brick (Stephen A. Smith) who has concerns about Dex’s history since so much is unknown, so he’ll talk to Sonny about those concerns before the week’s over.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny is putting his faith in Michael’s plant, but Dex will find himself conflicted about his two jobs as the story moves along!
