The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Is it time for Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to forgive Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears)? Does Bill need his right-hand man back?
B&B fans will recall how Justin went on an unhinged power trip, which led to him holding Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) hostage.
Justin wanted to be top dog at Spencer Publications and keep Bill behind bars over all the hit-and-run Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) drama.
Once the whole truth came out, a furious Bill decided Justin was dead to him.
Bill kicked Justin out of the company and his life, but Katie Logan (Heather Tom) wondered if he was sure that Justin’s actions were unforgivable.
Justin was Bill’s closest friend and his trusted right-hand man until his betrayal.
Although Justin later tried to pledge his Forrester loyalty, we all know where he belongs – and it’s back at Spencer Publications!
It seems like B&B writers threw Bill and Justin’s long-term friendship away over a short-term plot point, so they need to make things right.
Justin deserves a chance to make amends and prove himself to Bill once again.
That would take some serious time and effort, but forgiveness is possible. It’s just a matter of Bill finally being able to let go of his grudge.
During the week of July 18-22, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will reflect on all the people who aren’t in Bill’s life anymore – including Justin.
Since Justin’s name will come up, that could be a hint about the road ahead.
Maybe Bill’s cold heart will start to soften, especially if Wyatt and Liam set something in motion.
It’s easy to imagine Liam and Wyatt taking matters into their own hands by bringing Justin and Bill back together.
Now that Bill has had plenty of time to cool off, he might be more willing to get past Justin’s betrayal.
Likewise, Justin has no doubt done some soul-searching and could offer a truly moving forgiveness plea.
It’d be great to see Justin rejoin Spencer Publications, where he could regain Bill’s trust and hopefully get their friendship back on track.
Justin was the kind of employee who was irreplaceable, so perhaps Bill will rehire him and accept his old pal into his life again.
