The Young and the Restless: Chelsea Returns to Terrifying Rooftop – Sharon Helps Conquer Painful Fears?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may return to the terrifying rooftop and let Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) help her conquer her painful fears. After Chelsea made her way up to the ledge that night, she nearly took her own life by jumping off.

Thankfully, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was there to stop Chelsea and sought Sharon’s assistance in the aftermath.

Chelsea got into the mental health facility she desperately needed and is now on the road to recovery.

Of course, that recovery is a slow process with plenty of steps along the way.

When Chelsea first moved in her new apartment, Sharon and Billy brought her things over from The Grand Phoenix – just to avoid triggering any difficult memories or impulses.

However, Chelsea has been getting stronger and will continue to fight the negative thoughts that creep in her mind.

During the week of December 12-16, Chelsea might decide she’s gathered enough strength to face her fears and return to the ledge where she almost ended it all.

Although Chelsea just wanted the pain to stop at the time, she now sees how much she had to lose.

Sharon certainly won’t want to push Chelsea into anything she doesn’t want to do, but Chelsea may want to visit the rooftop again and take some power away from that ledge.

After all, Chelsea previously found that rooftop to be a source of relief.

When Chelsea went up there with Billy to shout and get some of her frustration out, she seemed to enjoy the release.

Chelsea may decide she doesn’t want the rooftop or the hotel itself to be some scary thing that she can’t even visit.

If Chelsea can’t conquer that, she may think she’ll have trouble conquering any lingering depression and insecurities.

Whatever the case, Sharon will offer to help Chelsea with a significant task.

There’ll be a big step for Chelsea to tackle, so she’ll need to rely on Sharon’s expertise as she takes it.

Instead of having Billy’s support on this, it may be more appropriate for Sharon to be by Chelsea’s side as a mental health professional.

Billy may be busy dealing with more Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) conflict anyway, so it makes sense that Sharon will be the one to assist Chelsea.

Do you think Chelsea will revisit the rooftop and conquer her fears with Sharon’s help? As other Y&R news comes in, we’ll pass along updates.
