The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) may give Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) a reason to turn against each other. Daniel has some big dreams when it comes to his new gaming platform, but turning them into a reality could be tougher than he thinks.
Devon is always pragmatic and cautious when it comes to his business beliefs.
It’s clear that Devon isn’t someone who gets swept up in someone else’s vision – unlike Lily who seems to find Daniel’s enthusiasm contagious.
Y&R fans are already seeing some warning signs now that Lily and Devon gave Daniel’s project the greenlight.
Devon quickly became worried when Daniel admitted he didn’t have his creative team together yet.
Of course, Daniel pointed out that he couldn’t get real commitments based on a maybe, so he had to be sure things would move forward at Chancellor-Winters first.
That makes sense, but Devon may not be thrilled about the team Daniel puts in place.
Daniel wants to put Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in charge of the day-to-day operations and make her his team leader.
Devon may think that’s risky, especially if Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) sees an opportunity and starts whispering in his bio son’s ear.
The only way Tucker’s takeover plan can work is if he merges his shares with Devon’s – and the only way Devon will do that is if he turns against Lily.
Tucker may get updates on the tension that’s building over Daniel’s venture and decide this is the perfect way to come between the siblings.
It’d be easy for Tucker to point out how reckless Phyllis is and reveal how she got fired from Marchetti over all the Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) drama.
Tucker might remind Devon that this gaming platform is already a huge risk and worry that Daniel isn’t the right person to bring this vision to life – particularly with a wildcard like Phyllis as his right-hand woman.
This could leave Devon ready to pull the plug on Daniel’s venture – either with the intention of scrapping the project or going in another direction with someone more established in the gaming industry.
That could certainly set Lily off and cause a major sibling war on Y&R. It’d be just what Tucker needs to pull off the next phase of his takeover plot, so that may be where this storyline is headed.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel’s good news may turn into a total nightmare if Devon threatens to yank this venture away.
