The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, May 30, teases that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will attack Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) for his cancer lie while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) silences Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) criticism of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
For starters, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will share a picnic with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in the park and warn that he has to approach the potential Marchetti acquisition from a business perspective.
Phyllis will try to sell Jack on the purchase and will talk about how much she’d love to have Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) back in town.
Meanwhile, Summer will join Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as he makes sure Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) got settled in her new suite.
Diane will love her new accommodations and will seem hopeful that she can win Summer over, though Summer will keep her walls up and seem perturbed by Diane’s framed photo with Kyle and Jack.
Once Diane gets updates on Kyle, Summer and Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) possible move back to Genoa City, she’ll be delighted.
Diane will also assure Summer that she’s her own boss when she’s asked about any job she might have to get back to in LA.
When Adam finds Victor and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) strategizing against Ashland at Society, he’ll bring up Victoria.
Adam will wonder when Victoria might be back, but Victor will hope her spa trip is an extended and relaxing one.
After Adam takes a jab about Victoria needing massages to get her head back in the game, Victor will warn Adam not to criticize his sister. However, Adam will insist he’s not taking shots at Victoria and wishes her the best.
As for Victor’s decision to keep plotting against Ashland, Adam won’t see the need since Ashland’s busy with other problems.
Victor will disagree and argue that Ashland must be driven out of Genoa City, so he’ll meet with Summer privately to put his plan in motion.
After Victor learns Summer and Kyle might move back to GC with Harrison, that’ll give him even more of a reason to protect the boy.
Victor will act like kindhearted Kyle and Summer will be talked into sharing custody with Ashland if they’re all living in the same place.
Instead, Victor will think Summer needs to talk Kyle into taking legal action and restricting Ashland’s access to Harrison completely.
Victor’s goal will be to sever Ashland’s ties to Harrison and anyone else in town so that he’ll leave.
They’ll debate whether a drastic move like this is necessary, but Summer will ultimately agree with Victor and pitch his idea to Kyle later.
It’ll leave Kyle conflicted since Harrison loves Ashland, but he also won’t want Ashland influencing his son.
Summer will fight hard to let Michael get involved and take the legal steps necessary to remove Ashland from Harrison’s life.
As Kyle weighs his options on Monday’s Y&R episode, Summer will insist they need to do this now.
At the coffeehouse, Ashland will speak to a lawyer and have her look over his agreement with Kyle to ensure that it’s legally binding.
When Ashland tries to offer Sharon his condolences over Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) death, she’ll immediately shut him down.
Sharon will then rant about Ashland’s massive donation to New Hope and think it’s a “load of crap” that he thought it’d be kept anonymous.
Although Sharon will be glad Rey’s name will be linked to the good deeds, she won’t want Ashland thinking the donation absolves him.
Sharon will point out that Ashland lied about a fatal illness that kills millions of people every year.
That’ll lead to Sharon remembering how hard her own cancer experience was and all the bargains with God that her family made.
Sharon will be haunted by what her loved ones went through and will think Ashland was cruel to put Victoria as well as Harrison in that situation.
As far as Sharon’s concerned, no amount of money would ever make up for Ashland’s despicable actions.
After Sharon calls Ashland disgusting, she’ll discover that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) is standing behind her and cool off as she makes him a beverage.
However, Sharon will get riled all over again when Ashland approaches once more and suggests he truly wants to make amends.
This time Diane will be there to spot Ashland facing Sharon’s wrath, so Diane will follow Ashland to the park and suggest sharing a bench in the sun.
Phyllis and Jack will still be there on their picnic, so they obviously won’t be happy to see their two least favorite people together.
Jack will give Diane some advice and suggest her friendship with Ashland won’t do her any favors when it comes to improving her image.
Later, Diane and Ashland will trade confessions about their past offscreen.
After Ashland comes clean, Diane won’t think she can judge since she essentially abandoned her son.
That said, Diane will think she needs to take Jack’s warning seriously.
Since Diane will get the feeling Ashland wants her to advocate for him regarding Harrison, she’ll apologetically admit that she can’t.
While Ashland prepares to fight alone, Phyllis will remain agitated over her encounter with Diane and will hope that Ashland will be her rival’s undoing.
Back at Crimson Lights, Noah and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will discuss podcasts, outlets for frustration and Ashland’s deception.
There’ll be some nice getting-to-know-you scenes as Allie comments on Sharon’s kindness and sees how Noah cares for his mother.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Noah and Allie will face a few bumps in the road, but these two are definitely headed for a romance.
