General Hospital Spoilers Recap: Friday, July 7 – Kristina’s Surrogate Idea Unsettles Molly – Dante Plays Hero as Threat Erupts

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, July 7, reveals that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) opened up to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about pushing Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) away and worrying it was too late to fix their broken relationship.

Liz also filled Portia in on Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) matchmaking, so she expressed concern about Violet’s heart breaking if she tried again with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and it didn’t work out.

Portia wondered if Liz was worried about her own heartbreak instead and urged her to tell Finn how she felt, so Liz went home to change and planned to meet up with him at the Metro Court.

Once Portia’s GH shift was over, she got dressed up and told another staff member that she was going out tonight.

Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) found Finn and Violet at the Metro Court bar.

When Chase learned Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) had been at the pool with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), he realized he’d better go rescue her.

Elsewhere, Tracy reminded Brook Lynn that she could tell Chase her role in getting his badge back, so Brook Lynn was on edge when Chase suddenly appeared – though he didn’t overhear anything important.

Since Tracy planned to have takeout alone, Violet pushed “Auntie Tracy” to join her for dinner along with Finn, Chase and Brook Lynn.

Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) arrived as well, so Tracy sarcastically said this was going to be fun and needed something stronger than a Shirley Temple.

Once they all sat down together, Brook Lynn seemed uncomfortable over Gregory’s questions about her focusing on Deception instead of songwriting.

Tracy acted like Brook Lynn was just being practical since it was good to have a backup when you worked in the arts.

Violet eventually put Finn on the spot by encouraging him to tell everyone about his date, but he decided to take her home since she was getting sleepy.

When Elizabeth appeared looking all glammed up, Gregory said he’d take Violet home instead and gave Finn a chance to stick around with Liz.

In a moment alone with Brook Lynn, Chase fished to find out what was up with her and why she really went back to Deception.

Next, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had dinner with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) at the Metro Court restaurant and asked him to be his best man. Dante accepted and learned the wedding would be a simple event this fall.

After Dante started grilling Sonny about his business and the extra security measures, Sonny stonewalled him.

However, Dante made it clear that he was asking as a concerned son and not a cop.

Sonny did his best to reassure Dante before heading off for a meeting with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

In the meantime, Anna caught up with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) by the Metro Court pool.

Since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) told Jordan about the vandalism at her home, Anna wasn’t happy he had bothered her with that.

Jordan quizzed Anna about the fallout of the WSB scandal and offered support before talk turned to Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston).

Anna got updates on Zeke spilling Jordan’s kiss with Curtis, which she never would’ve told him if she’d known he was Portia’s brother.

Zeke showed up out of the blue, so Anna met him and made an excuse to leave. That gave Zeke a chance to join Jordan and make a pitch for them to start over.

Jordan didn’t blame Zeke for telling Portia the truth, but she also thought a romance with him would be too messy. Zeke didn’t see the problem since he didn’t let his family dictate who he dated.

Since Jordan was officially done with Curtis, Zeke was hopeful about seeing where things could lead between them.

Zeke pushed for a dinner date and thought Portia could deal with it, but Jordan didn’t seem so sure as Portia appeared nearby.

Portia wound up confronting Zeke about ignoring her calls and wondered if his date night with Jordan was the reason why.

Back with Anna, she met with Sonny near the pool as well.

Anna had a message from Valentin, who warned Sonny not to proceed if he was given a new contact person – at least not until he talked to his old contact person.

Sonny confirmed that he knew what the message meant, but Anna was puzzled over why Sonny and Valentin would have any sort of business together.

At The Savoy, Molly Lansing-Davis (currently played by Holiday Mia Kriegel) arrived with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

When Molly saw TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) with Curtis, she seemed thrown and asked what he was doing there.

TJ suggested he lost track of time catching up with Curtis and said he had planned to leave before Molly got there.

That left Molly upset over TJ thinking that she couldn’t stand to be around him.

Molly clarified that she didn’t need a break from TJ – just a break from her infertility problems. TJ understood and agreed to stick around since Molly wanted him to.

Over with Curtis, he offered Sam sympathy over Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) prison sentence since this was hard on Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante).

Curtis also talked about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity and how that changed things.

Even if Curtis couldn’t make it work with Portia, he hoped he could develop a father-daughter relationship with Trina.

After Curtis checked in with TJ again, he headed out and soon showed up at the Metro Court pool.

Dante also appeared there and urged everyone to get down since he saw a threat in the distance. A shot rang out that put everyone in the pool area at risk.

Back at The Savoy, Kristina had a lightbulb moment for how she could help Molly and TJ, so she told Alexis and Sam that she could be their surrogate.

Although Kristina seemed excited about the idea, Molly overheard the big news and looked uneasy.

General Hospital spoilers say Molly and Kristina will have a lot to talk about soon, so stay tuned.
