Tonight’s The Bachelor episode begins with the women saying that last night was a lot and they are looking for a restart. A lot happened unexpectedly, and Christina went home. The vibe is a little lighter. Jesse walks in and says he hopes they look forward to this week, but there is not going to be a date today, Zach is no longer there, he wants them to join him on an international journey. They are going to a world-famous place, warm and tropical, the Bahamas. The women rush to pack and leave. Everyone is so excited.
In the Bahamas the women are excited, the rooms are massive, and they have their own private pool, and the only one that is missing is Zach.
A date card arrives, Kat, “how deep is our love?” She is excited, she says her heart is beating so fast. The other women don’t look impressed, Greer is crying, she didn’t get to spend any time last week with Zach and she was hoping it would be with her. She got the first impression of rose, and she was hoping that he would want to explore that connection, not getting it just sucks. Anastasia was also hoping to get the one on one, she doesn’t feel like a priority and she feels discouraged.
Zach has a very exciting date with Kat, he really wants to strengthen the connection. Zach can’t believe that she is with him, he thinks she looks like a model and is way above his level. They sunscreen each other and Zach says it is so unreal. They start dancing on the boat. They jump in the water and go snorkeling, holding hands.
Back at the pool, the women are disappointed because Zach is building relationships with certain women, he has his favorite girls in the group and some don’t think they are them.
Elsewhere, Zach tells Kat that he is giddy around her and it is one of the best days ever.
A group date card arrives, Aly, Kaity, Airel, David, Genevie, Anastasia, Kylee, Mercedes, Charity, Gabi, Jess, and Greer, “It’s time to turn up the heat.”
Brooklyn got the one on one date, the other women are feeling sad.
Kat says the date is more than she could have ever hoped for. She and Zach sit down for dinner, and she wants to talk to him. She tells him that she is worried because he had a traditional upbringing and she didn’t. She didn’t get along with her mother and even moved out. She didn’t have a healthy relationship like he did and she feels like he might judge her, it actually makes her feel unlovable. She is crying. He tells her that he wants to love his person for who they are not where they come from. She deserves to be loved for her. He is glad that she told him and she is happy that he received what she said with smooch grace.
Zach gives Kat the one on one rose, she accepts it and they seal it with a kiss. He says his date was too much fun, it just gets better and better, kissing her is like two meteors colliding and creating a star, it’s fireworks.
What really stood out to him is that Kat was willing to share who she was and still had fun during the date. He is shocked at how well the dad went.
Time for the group date, and the women meet with Zach. He says they are going to be eating well, drinking, and checking out the island. This date is all about fun, the perfect beach party.
Gabi wants to cry, she is allergic to shellfish and a lot of the food has it in it. She can’t even kiss Zach because he ate shellfish.
Anastasia is monopolizing Zach’s time and the women feel like it is inappropriate. Kylee feels so unseen, she feels like she gets lost in the crowd, so she just goes up to see Zach in a smoking bathing suit and asks if she can steal him for a moment. Anastasia says no, in a minute, Kylee won’t back off, good for her. Anastasia feels like she is being disrespectful, but walks off and leaves Zach with Kylee. Anastasia goes and complains to the other women, and Kylee gives her side of the story to them as well. Anastasia is making a big deal of it and exaggerates the whole thing, she tells the women that she was attacked. The women think it is bizarre, Kylee wouldn’t fight with anyone. Kylee hates that her name is brought up in any type of drama.
During the group cocktail, Zach spends time with the women and gives them all reassurance.
Kylee tells Zach that after stealing him early in the day, what she said is being taken out of context, Anastasia is saying that she was going to physically fight her over Zach and that is not what she meant. She also says that Anastasia keeps saying how many Instagram followers she is going to get for being on the show. Kylee says it is hearsay, she didn’t hear it, but Charity heard it. Zach thinks this sucks, and he wants to address it. Zach speaks to Charity, and she says yes, she overheard it. Zach says it is frustrating, was this all fake with Anastasia?
Zach goes and sits with the woman and says someone may be there for the wrong reasons, then he asks Anastasia if she can talk. They walk off, and he asks her if she is really there for him, and she says yes. He says that is not what he heard, he heard that she is not there for a relationship, she is there for Instagram followers. She says no, it is not true, she is looking for a partner. He asks her if she has an idea where it would come from.
She says she does deal with brands, but that has nothing to do with her being there. He says it was alarming that it was brought up in the first place. She says she is proud of her life and it was twisted. He leaves and tells her he will see her, he needs to be alone. Anastasia is upset, she returns to the women and they ask about what happened. Kylee says that she did mention things to Zach because he asked about it. She admits that she said about Instagram followers, but she told him that she didn’t hear it herself. Anastasia says she was asked questions and she answered them, she didn’t give up the information about Instagram.
Zach returns to the ladies, he says long night, but overall a great day. He grabs the rose and says it goes to someone who reminds him why he is there and makes him feel good, he gives the rose to Ariel, and she feels so grateful, it feels like validation that her feelings are being reciprocated. Zach leaves and Anastasia starts to cry, she feels completely manipulated. She feels like this destroyed her, this feels like a nightmare. She calls it to sabotage. Kylee says Anastasia is so much more manipulative than she is, she is really scared of how she is going to retaliate.
It’s time for Zach’s second one-on-one date with Brooklyn, he takes her on ATVs to explore the island. They go around and end up on the same ATV, then they stop on a secluded beach to sit down and talk to each other. During dinner, she tells Zach that she was in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship for six years. She had to pull strength that she didn’t even know she had and get out. She needs him to know that she appreciates that he likes her the way she is. He tells her that she has gone through battles that he couldn’t imagine, it makes him sick to his stomach for what she has been through.
She definitely thinks Zach is amazing, he is receptive to what she told him, and he is supportive. She is ready to find the love that she gave, given back to her. He tells her that he is into her, and she has an amazing smile. He thinks she should be proud of herself, and what she went through, no human should have to go through that. With the confidence and beauty that comes from her, he is blown away. He gives her the one-on-one rose and he tells her that he is grateful that she gave him the Brooklyn that nobody else sees, he wants to keep building what they have and to see where it goes. She accepts the rose. She truly feels like the only girl in the world when she is with Zach.
Time for the cocktail party before the rose ceremony. Zach says that he is following his heart and his gut in this, and he asks to speak to Anastasia.
Anastasia is shaking, he tells her that the last time they talked he had concerns, but he wants to give her the opportunity to say how she is feeling. She says the information was inaccurate and it was upsetting that he had doubt in her. She is adamant that she is there for the right reasons. The other women are uneasy, they don’t like that the night started on a negative note. Zach returns with Anastasia, he is holding her hand, and they proceed to go through a door, he walks her right to a car and she is gone.
In the limo, Anastasia calls the woman bold face liars and says she didn’t do anything wrong. Kylee meanwhile is worried that she might be collateral damage in all of this.
Zach returns to the women and tells them that Anastasia is gone. He then asks to speak to Charity and has a good time with her. He loves his time with her, she makes him feel special. He is really hopeful, he feels like the women who are left are there for him, it is becoming more and more real every day.
Kylee is really worried, the cocktail party is over and she didn’t spend time with Zach. She tells the other women she wants to go home, she cannot bare not hearing her name being called.
Time to give out the roses, Kylee stayed but she is done with the drama, she hopes it doesn’t end with her going home, that would be the worst-case scenario. Zach enters the room and says the week was a lot, it was really challenging. He thanks them for making him feel the way he does. The roses go to Charity, Kaity, Gabi, Jess, Mercedes, Aly, Greer, and Kylee. Genevie and Davia are sent home. Davia is so confused, she and Zach had an immediate and strong connection and she doesn’t know what happened.
Zach tells the women who are left that they are going to London, somewhere that he always wanted to go and he thinks it is the perfect place to fall in love.
