The Young and the Restless Friday, January 27 Recap: Victoria to Take Over Tucker’s Company – Chelsea’s Podcast Scrapped

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, January 27, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will call a meeting with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) so they can discuss concerns about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

Victor will offer updates from Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) that could shed some light on Tucker’s motives.

Thanks to Tucker’s lavish lifestyle, his company is now under a mountain of debt.

Victor will note that Tucker has a number of short-term loans that are coming due, so he’ll suspect Tucker is looking for a lucrative company to keep him afloat.

Nick will worry about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) still being aligned with Tucker, but Victor will think it might be to their advantage if Audra keeps working with him.

Victoria will agree since they need to turn the tables and make Tucker stay on guard.

Nikki will realize Victoria is thinking of going after Tucker McCall Unlimited, but Nick will feel like it’d be better to let the company crumble and then pick up the pieces.

However, Victor will suggest this is a golden opportunity since Tucker’s divisions would fold nicely into Newman Enterprises.

Nick will act like they might not even be successful at taking them over and think it’s important to keep weighing the pros and cons.

Once Nikki’s alone with Victor, she’ll feel like he seems to have ulterior motives for going after Tucker specifically.

Victor will admit there’s a division at Tucker’s company that he thinks Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) would be interested in running.

At Newman Media, Audra will believe it’s a waste of time to pursue Daniel Romalotti Jr’s (Michael Graziadei) gaming project since Chancellor-Winters’ contracts are ironclad.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will become interested in how much Audra knows about Chancellor-Winters contracts and other privileged information.

Audra won’t be in the loop on much about Daniel’s platform other than they were going to build a gaming division and were developing a statement that was never released.

Nate will assume Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) is to blame for the standstill and will suggest it’s too bad Audra cut ties.

It would’ve been nice to have inside info, but Audra will point out that cutting ties led to her role at Newman Media.

Nate will consider the idea of sitting Daniel down and making him see that they’re the more stable option.

Once Audra gets a text from Tucker asking to meet, she’ll excuse herself and go running to his hotel suite.

Tucker will be apologetic about how he treated Audra before and will eventually admit he wants info on Daniel’s gaming division.

Audra will insist that if anyone is going to snatch it up, it’s Newman Media.

Tucker will confess to missing Audra and their partnership as well as their friendship.

After Tucker kneels in front of Audra and says he’s sorry, things will take a passionate turn between them.

Meanwhile, Daniel will rip into Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for going behind his back and sharing privileged info with Nate, the guy who sold out his cousins.

Phyllis will argue that she didn’t divulge anything risky, but Daniel will still be on edge.

Although Daniel won’t be ready to jump ship at Chancellor-Winters yet, he’ll like Tucker as a better backup option than Newman Media.

Phyllis will contend that Tucker is a manipulative snake and try to make Daniel see that it’d be a mistake to partner with him.

Daniel will stand by his decision to trust Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), but Phyllis will think he needs to get out while he still can.

Nevertheless, Daniel will point out that Phyllis let an old grudge ruin her career and relationship.

Although Phyllis will think she was proven right about everything, Daniel will wonder where being right got her before stomping off.

At Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) place, she’ll have some disappointing news when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) comes over.

It turns out Chelsea’s therapist thought it was too soon for her to do such a personal podcast, but Chelsea will note that her desire to do one was a positive sign for her recovery.

In the park, Billy will get advice from Chelsea about finding his purpose by trusting himself and paving his own path.

After Billy talks about them living parallel lives, he’ll run down the list of some of their similar qualities and struggles.

Billy will be grateful for Chelsea’s friendship and will be proud of the work she’s done, so they’ll share a warm moment.

Once Billy walks Chelsea home, they’ll agree to grab dinner together soon.

While Victoria and Nick are at Society, they’ll have a run-in with Tucker.

Victoria will mention hearing about his company going under, but Tucker will act like you shouldn’t believe everything you hear.

As for Audra on Friday’s Y&R episode, she’ll return to Nate and suggest that she’s coming around on the idea of pursuing Daniel’s platform.

When Daniel arrives, he’ll clear the air about his intention to honor his contract with Lily.

Nate will try to make a pitch anyway, but Daniel will insist this isn’t a “sell to the highest bidder” kind of thing.

Once Daniel’s gone, Nate will admit he’s more intrigued than ever.

Audra will mention Tucker is Nate’s competition since he’s got the same idea, so Nate will ask how she knows that.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Audra will have plenty of people pulling her in all sorts of directions, so stay tuned!
