The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may try once again to get Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) back despite her feelings for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). It’s clear that Sally’s clinging to Nick like a life raft since he brings a sense of safety and stability to her life.
Now that’s been ripped away, so Sally’s spinning out and struggling to find a path forward.
Even after Sally admits to Adam that she can’t let him go either, she’ll warn that she has no intention of acting on her lingering desires.
Sally will continue to act like her relationship with Adam is toxic and just not something she can pursue anymore.
It seems Sally will remain in denial about what her future should look like and try to convince Nick they should reunite.
Once Nick’s had some time to cool off following the kiss fiasco, Sally may summon him in hopes of pulling off a grand gesture.
There might be some sweet gift that Sally has in mind for Nick or some strategy to show him that she meant her confession about falling in love.
Of course, it may be too little, too late! Nick finally seems to have wised up about Sally’s true feelings when it comes to Adam, so any reunion attempts Sally makes now may flop hard.
During the week of October 23-27, Y&R spoilers say Nick will dig his heels in on something.
We’ll see Nick stay strong and refuse to cave in, so that could mean he’ll reject Sally all over again if she tries to get back together.
Perhaps Nick will have to get a bit harsh with Sally and make her understand that this just isn’t happening.
The longer they’re apart, the more Nick may realize this is the best thing for both of them.
Nick doesn’t want to be with someone who can’t commit to him completely.
Likewise, Sally deserves more than being with someone she can’t love with her whole heart.
Nevertheless, Sally doesn’t have Nick out of her system yet, so she might try one more romantic gesture and get rejected.
That might lead to a turning point where Sally’s willing to move beyond the almost happiness she had with Nick and open her heart to real happiness with Adam.
