The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 24, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will unveil a new strategy that’s sure to shake things up. That could have something to do with the insurance policy that Victor’s setting in motion involving Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) expressed concern about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) acting even more reckless if he knew Nate was a threat to replace him. The last thing anyone needs is Adam’s volatile side getting worse!
Nevertheless, Victor is convinced that he knows best when it comes to keeping Adam in line and handling all the SNA Media drama.
If Adam gets updates on Nate waiting in the wings to take his place if something goes wrong, he’ll definitely get riled up. It could leave Adam even more convinced that a bold move must be made to break free from Victor’s control.
As for Nate, he’s been making progress when it comes to repairing his relationship with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Nate feels like Victoria has hopefully forgiven him and that she’s ready to move forward with their romance again.
Unfortunately, Nate will go too far somehow on Thursday’s Y&R episode. That could bring another secret for Nate to keep or at least create a setback that once again leaves Victoria with trust issues.
This might tie in with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) since she’s got some scenes coming up that involve moving on from her former flame.
Elena tends to hurl insults at Nate whenever they cross paths, so she might push too hard this time and launch his massive outburst. If Victoria witnesses Nate’s blowup, that could be another path to her growing increasingly concerned about Nate’s behavior.
Regardless, there’ll be some situation where Nate oversteps on Thursday’s show, so he may have to undo the damage with Victoria once more.
Meanwhile, Victoria will turn her attention to someone else when she interrogates Ashley Abbott-McCall (Eileen Davidson).
That’ll inevitably lead to a conversation about Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) cover-up of a cover-up and how Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) got dragged into Adam’s blackmail trouble.
Victoria may grill Ashley for additional details and try to get under Ashley’s skin regarding her new husband’s scandalous history.
If Victoria has a hunch that Tucker hasn’t left those scandals in the past, she might predict a new one and warn that Ashley’s going to get burned by association.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will scheme against Tucker, so look for them to have a secret meeting and move forward with a sneaky move.
