The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 17, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have another tense conversation with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about her romantic interest in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Since Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) dumped Nate and moved out, Victoria may defend her budding relationship with Nate. Now that they’re both single, Victoria may not see the problem.
However, Nick will once again question Nate’s loyalty, which is reasonable since Nate’s given him so many reasons to.
Nate wasn’t loyal to Elena or even his own family at Chancellor-Winters, so Nick will feel like Victoria’s playing with fire by growing closer to the snake.
Of course, Victoria can be a bit of a snake as well, so she’ll think she’s more than capable of handling herself. Besides, Victoria will feel confident that Nate is on the same page and won’t stab her in the back.
Nick, on the other hand, will fear that Nate’s pursuit of power could lead to trouble. Although Nick will feel like Victoria’s going to get used, she’ll once again push her brother to butt out.
Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will come clean to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) now that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) has revealed Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faked her death.
Lauren will reel over Michael’s stunning news and ultimately take charge of the situation.
It sounds like Lauren may plan her own search for Phyllis or come up with a way to draw her out of hiding.
Other Y&R spoilers say Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will push Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) buttons as usual, but Diane will have the upper hand in their latest argument.
Will Diane reveal that Phyllis is alive and assure Ashley that her own freedom is imminent?
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) might prefer if Diane kept the Phyllis shocker under wraps, but she may struggle to keep the secret once Ashley’s taunting her about prison being in her future.
Regardless, Diane will cling to hope that Phyllis can be tracked down. The sooner Phyllis is located, the faster Diane can get off the hook for her murder!
