The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) could become quite important to each other. Y&R fans know Tucker recently approached Phyllis with an offer and hoped they could have a mutually beneficial relationship.
Of course, that was before Tucker’s whole world fell apart!
The January 9 episode will leave Tucker reeling since Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will cut him out of his life as well as Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) life.
Tucker’s decision to plant Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at Chancellor-Winters will backfire spectacularly since Devon will uncover proof and wash his hands of his bio dad.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will also walk out on Tucker, so he’ll cross paths with Phyllis later and ask if she’s ready to “burn it all down.”
Y&R writers may be in the process of pairing rejected Tucker and Phyllis up for a fresh start together.
During the week of January 16-20, both Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will fret over Phyllis.
The siblings will find themselves concerned about Phyllis’ wellbeing, so Phyllis may show signs of going off the rails somehow.
Tucker might use Phyllis to make Ashley jealous and rely on Phyllis’ unique skill set to pull off other victories, too.
Phyllis feels rejected right now and may latch onto Tucker as a devious partner in crime sooner or later.
Naturally, an alliance where Tucker and Phyllis “burn it all down” as Tucker suggests could lead to a romantic partnership as well.
Tucker might help Phyllis go after Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and earn her adoration.
It’s easy to imagine Phyllis and Tucker falling hard for each other during a storyline like this.
Will some strategy updates pull Tucker into Phyllis’ orbit for a new love story?
Tucker will have nothing left to lose soon, so that news could drive him to team up with Phyllis and maybe fall for her, too.
