General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) new life could be on a collision course with his old one. GH fans know Sonny managed to derail Elijah Crowe’s (Dan White) plans for The Tan-O by scoring enough money for the Caulfields to keep their bar.
Now Elijah’s showing off his shady side by investigating “Mike” behind his back.
Since Elijah picked up on a friendly vibe between Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), he’s been investigating her as well. Elijah knows Nina runs Crimson, so it seems like it should be pretty easy to crack the case of who “Mike” is now.
Anyone with half a brain can tie Crimson to Port Charles, see who’s missing from PC lately and realize “Mike” is none other than presumed dead mob boss Sonny Corinthos. Unless Elijah’s minions are totally incompetent or GH writers decide to write something illogical, Elijah should know exactly who Sonny is soon.
There’s a good chance Elijah has some mob connections as well. It’s clear that Elijah has a dark side and some power behind him. Sonny doesn’t trust Elijah and can see the potential for trouble, which General Hospital spoilers say is no doubt brewing.
Perhaps even “Mike” can’t escape the mob since Elijah seems so determined to score The Tan-O and carry out his plans for Nixon Falls. Let’s think about this for a moment.
If Elijah figures out who “Mike” really is as expected, what’s the reasonable thing for a sinister character like him to do?
It makes sense for Elijah to hire a hit on Sonny and try to take him out. Elijah will know that everyone back in Port Charles assumes Sonny is dead, so nobody will know the difference as long as he can keep Nina quiet.
Maybe Elijah can threaten Nina to make sure she keeps her mouth shut – just like she’s already doing for revenge on Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Whatever the case, Nina may soon see that “Mike” isn’t as safe as he seems to be in this brand-new life of his. Sonny may not be able to outrun his mob past, even while living as “Mike.”
