It looks like Prince Harry‘s current paramour and rumored fiance, Cressida Bonas, is not as pristine as the royal family would have us believe. Footage revealing Cressida acting in a controversial TV show has been making its way online, revealing her character baring her midriff and offering sexual favors in exchange for votes on the student council. Not exactly what Queen Elizabeth wants for her grandson’s royal bride.
The college drama titled Trinity aired on ITV2 in 2009, but Cressida has all of two minutes on the show, which can be seen briefly in the fourth episode. The show was cancelled after one season, and based on the brief footage we can see, it’s obvious why. The writing is cringe-worthy, and the show was clearly using sex as a way to draw in viewers. Fortunately, the horrible quality of the show probably managed to drive away anybody who was enticed by the plot line and half naked cheerleaders.
Will this affect Cressida’s relationship with Harry? Eh, probably not. They’re getting pretty serious and if we’re talking about scandals, this one doesn’t even compare to Harry’s nude Vegas scandal.
Also, it doesn’t look like anything short of a secret baby will stop the marriage now, with a source telling the Mirror, “Cressie is going to marry Harry. Harry never stops talking about marriage and children and she has not got used to the idea. The wedding is likely to take place next year.”
Now, I highly doubt that Harry is the one who can’t stop talking about marriage and children, and I think one of the reasons he likes Cressida so much is because she’s similar to him in that regard. That being said, there is still a lot of pressure on him to get married quickly, and I don’t think two minutes of Cressida showing her midriff in a crappy TV drama will change anything.
