General Hospital Spoilers: Dr. Obrect's Shocking Discovery - Patrick Tells Jake About Liz and Sam's Rivalry Over Jason

Check out these “General Hospital” spoilers for the week of August 10 through August 14. First, with Franco (Roger Howarth) locked up for suspicion of killing Silas Clay (Michael Easton), Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) may sacrifice his position as DA to protect his only son. Meanwhile, Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) threats to expose Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) shut Franco down and he agrees not to blab to the cops about Denise being Ava. Nina and Ava will also face off and Nina will find out Ava can implicate her in the murder and is blackmailing Franco.

Dr Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) uncovers some shocking info while she tries to help her BFF Franco. Will she find out that baby Avery is really the daughter of Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig)? Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) also make an interesting discovery this week. What could it be? Is it related to Silas’ murder or the Avery kidnapping? Or the mob violence? Maybe they’ll find Carlos Rivera’s (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) body…

After Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) threatens Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) into silence about Jake Doe (Billy Miller), he gets a new houseguest. Will he take Hayden in again so he can keep his eye on her or is Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) back in town to stir up trouble? Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpi) is thinking about moving out of Wyndemere.

Morgan’s parents think he’s capable of murder and run through how they think he could have killed Silas. Morgan is horrified that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) think he’s capable of homicide. He won’t take this well. Sonny is more sure than ever that Julian Jerome (William deVry) is the one attacking his syndicate and he will get a call that arouses his suspicions. Sonny will lie to Carly about his increasing mob violence.

Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) reads Dillon Quartermaine’s (Robert Palmer Watkins) revised script and it makes her think about growing feelings for Dillon and her recent unsatisfactory feelings about her hubby Dante. Lulu and Dante will get a surprise visitor while Dillon decides to give his dad Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) a chance.

Valerie wants to forget what happened with Dante even though she still has feelings for him, but wants to give Dillon a chance. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will apologize to Valerie, but is she sincere? Nah. Maxie always has some sort of plot going so no doubt she’s still going to keep her eye on Valerie just in case she makes another move on Dante.

After Nik drops by, Hayden will reveal some information to Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) that may provoke him into a proposal to try and make sure he doesn’t lose Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco). Patrick will also approach Jake and tell him about the rivalry over Jason that makes Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Sam regard each other with suspicion and jealousy.

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is still up to scheming with Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) but he may also get a new job opportunity. Will Ric be asked to take over as DA when Scotty steps down? And will he use the position of power to try and get rid of Franco for good? And to get the courts to hand Nina’s money over to him? Or is Ric going to the other side of the law and he’s the one tormenting Sonny?

Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) have a confrontation about Brad’s lies and him being married the whole time they were dating. Likely Brad was forced into a wedding by one of his two families – adoptive or biological – and it’s to a woman – and not a marriage for love. Will Brad to turn out to have secret kids too?
