Drake just released an ad for Apple Music lip syncing to his rumored new girlfriend Taylor Swift. The hilarious video shows a muscular Drake being distracted by Taylor’s hit, that she supposedly wrote about her alleged feud with Katy Perry, “Bad Blood”.
Drake shared the clip to his Instagram last night and since then it’s racked up millions of views. The clip starts off with Drake going HAM with a trainer in the gym. When the trainer leaves, he secretly puts on the frenemy anthem and starts dancing in front of a mirror to it. He then resumes working out while wailing out the lyrics to the song but he can’t take the weight that he’s lifting. The weight falls and Drake falls over with it and the funny ad ends.
Drake then reignited rumors that were already having Swifties and Drake fans going wild with posting a screenshot of the ad with the hashtags #Draylor #Swiftgains #NoMercy and #Lightwork. Taylor Swift of course caught wind of the video after and reposted it with the caption of the strong arm emoji and “Yes @Champagnepapi #drakevsbenchpress”
The post and repost set Twitter ablaze with mixed reviews of a Draylor couple. One person even posting “Draylor, Ok what did we actually do to deserve 2016?” and another with a shady Rihanna gif with the caption “SMH!! Please tell me #Draylor isn’t real? Aubrey got to be joking… right?”
The fans of Drake and Taylor Swift have been following the story of a possible romance between the two ever since they were seen “close” at Drake’s 30th birthday bash. The day after sources said that they are not romantically involved however they were talking about making music together instead. Days later it was reported that the two were spotted together again, this time near a studio for a possible collaboration.
Hopefully they are simply just making music together and the black widow that is Taylor Swift isn’t trying to move in on the hip-hop artist, especially so soon after it was announced that he and Rihanna broke up again. A great Draylor album is more favorable and profitable than a Draylor romance.
