“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday’s episode, April 8, tease an episode that will have all fans of the CBS soap on the edge of their seats. Abby (Melissa Ordway) will continue to stew over Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) blackmail scheme. She can’t believe Hilary would use Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) condition against her.
Abby will toss around a few threats, but Hilary won’t be too worried. It seems like Hilary feels invincible these days.
Of course, we know that’s usually when someone is poised to take a fall. Devon (Bryton James) is determined to help Hilary, but his plan may not work out. Hilary might have to learn some hard lessons before she straightens up.
Elsewhere, Summer (Hunter King) will feel torn about what she should do. It looks like the Passkey battle is set to kick off. Depositions are about to get underway. Nick (Joshua Morrow) will assure Summer that everything will be fine. All she needs to do is tell the truth.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what Summer is afraid of.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Summer will feel like she’s caught in the middle of this war. She won’t want to incriminate her own mother. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is already irritated with Summer for being on Victor’s (Eric Braeden) side during the trial.
Nevertheless, Summer may decide that honesty is the best policy. Whatever happens, Summer will play a crucial role in determining the future of Passkey. Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) will hope to manipulate the situation. He’ll have no qualms about using deception to get what he wants, once a rat, always a rat.
Y&R spoilers reveal that that Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Natalie (Mara McCaffray) will all be giving depositions as well. Kevin will wonder how Billy plans of getting them out of this mess. Billy will indicate that they’ll simply lie. It’s clear that Billy desperately wants to keep Passkey.
Naturally, this revolutionary project could create huge financial gains for Jabot. However, it’s about more than that. Billy undoubtedly wants Newman Enterprises to fail, even if it means throwing Victoria under the bus.
