Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some turmoil is headed for the Johnson clan. Jade’s (Gabrielle Haugh) next crisis will undoubtedly affect Joey (James Lastovic). He’ll try to offer support while she deals with her dad’s illness. However, a bigger bombshell is looming that could turn Joey’s world upside down. Some major changes are on the way for Joey and his whole family.
DOOL spoilers hint that Steve (Stephen Nichols) may be the first one to learn this shocking news. Remember when Ava (Tamara Braun) forced Steve to search for their kid? They went on a mission together, but they found only devastation. Steve and Ava were told that their son died as a child.
Of course, many Days fans suspected that wouldn’t be the last time we heard about the boy. The NBC soap rarely passes up the opportunity to bring an unexpected family member out of the woodwork. It looks like there was a mistake or even a cover-up. Steve and Ava’s son is actually alive. His name is Tripp (Lucas Adams) and he’ll show up in Salem soon enough.
It’s not clear how Steve will get updates on his son. Perhaps Tripp uncovered some information. Now that he’s older, he may have decided to track down his birth parents. When Steve receives word of Tripp’s existence, he’ll grow concerned. Steve may worry about how Kayla and Joey will handle this.
No matter what Steve does, he can’t seem to get rid of Ava. Even her death couldn’t keep her out of his life. Now Ava will be somewhat tied to Steve and his family forever. This sets up plenty of juicy conflict. Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Kayla will face a dangerous situation. It could be connected to Tripp’s impending arrival.
Whatever the case, Tripp is certainly going to shake things up. He’s not going to be happy about his mother’s murder. Steve took the blame and the ISA got him off the hook. Once Tripp does a bit of digging, he may realize that Steve wasn’t the culprit after all.
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Tripp will be determined to find Ava’s true killer. That presents a real problem since his half-brother is the one who smothered her with a pillow. If Tripp discovers the truth, he could hold this over Joey’s head indefinitely.
