The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, May 31, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will panic as she tries to wake Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) up. Unfortunately, she won’t be successful. When Dr. Harris comes home, he’ll assume that Chelsea must’ve done something to Chloe. Chelsea will assure the doc that Chloe was already unconscious when she found her.
Dr. Harris will bend over to check Chloe’s pulse, but he won’t find one. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Dr. Harris will insist that Chloe is dead! Chelsea will struggle to accept the outcome of this situation. She’ll deal with terrible guilt, but she’ll hope that both Adam (Justin Hartley) and Chloe are in a better place.
Chelsea will lean on Nick (Joshua Morrow) for support during the crisis. She’ll also ask for Chloe’s body to be sent to Genoa City. Dr. Harris will report the suicide and make the arrangements. Elsewhere, Victor will get the bad news from Nick. He’ll fill Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) in and they’ll debate what Nick is going to do next.
Nikki will suggest that Victor probably wants her to keep Nick’s mouth shut. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Victor’s rage will finally erupt. He’ll yell that he doesn’t care what happens anymore. Victor has lost his family, so nothing matters now anyway.
Meanwhile, Juliet (Laur Allen) will lash out at Cane (Daniel Goddard) for not trying hard enough to save her job. Lily (Christel Khalil) will want to help by offering Juliet a position at Devon’s (Bryton James) company. After Juliet gets updates on the deleted footage, she’ll meet with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) to plot her next move.
Y&R spoilers say Hilary will encourage Juliet to take drastic action. She’ll think a sexual harassment lawsuit is in order. Across town, the Abbott family dinner will get underway. Dina (Marla Adams) will do her best to reconnect with Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland). She’ll hope she can get to know Abby (Melissa Ordway) as well.
The meal will be awkward, but Dina will manage to have a good time. She’ll mention that she used to sing to her children years ago. Jack will note that he recalls some of his mother’s songs. Dina will belt one out and Jack will sing along. They’ll all gather for a selfie before Dina takes off.
Abby will pull Jack aside and announce her plans. She’ll insist that she needs to tell Victor about their partnership. All the lying is really taking a toll on Abby. Nearby, Traci will chat with Ashley about the changes she’s seen in their mom. She’ll hint that Dina might be on the right track.
