The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 29, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will rant about all hostility between Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victor (Eric Braeden). She’ll warn her son not to make it worse by keeping Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) from her grandpa. Nikki will feel like Nick will just hurt his loved ones if this keeps up.
Y&R spoilers say Nick will reassure Nikki and head to The Underground. Once he’s there, he’ll see a surprising face from the past. Alice Johnson (Tamara Clatterbuck), who was Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) adoptive mother, will sit at a table as Nick gapes. He’ll eventually call Sharon (Sharon Case) to fill her in.
Elsewhere, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will convince Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) to share what she knows with the cops. At the station, they’ll find Paul (Doug Davidson) and Sharon arguing about the case. Tessa will confess that Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) is her sister and she’s been in touch with her. She’ll talk about that dangerous showdown she had with the thug.
Afterward, Sharon will assure Tessa that she did the right thing. Tessa will be grateful that Mariah gave her the nudge she needed. The friends will embrace and hope that Tessa’s info helps Crystal. Meanwhile, Victor will ask Abby (Melissa Ordway) how things are going with Zack (Ryan Ashton). She’ll downplay her romance, but Victor will still want her to stay on guard.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will stop by the Chancellor mansion. She’ll meet up with Cane (Daniel Goddard) to find a solution to their romantic problems. Hilary will contend that they have similar goals. She wants Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) back and Cane wants Jordan away from Lily (Christel Khalil), so teaming up might be beneficial.
Hilary will insist that Cane should pour out his heart and show Lily how much he needs her. At Lily’s place, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) will scold her mom for dating again. She’ll notice the flowers Jordan gave Lily and assume the worst. Lily will suggest that Jordan is merely her friend, but Mattie will be miffed anyway.
Cane will show up to talk to Lily later, but she’ll think he needs to discuss his issues with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) instead. Lily will feel like it’s time for this father and son to work everything out. Across town, Jordan will bump into Hilary at the coffee house. He’ll point out that he doesn’t want Hilary to feel uncomfortable around him.
Hilary will mention the idea of going to dinner as pals, but Lily’s call will derail that plan. Jordan will rush back to Lily’s house while Hilary contemplates her next move.
