“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal major action on many storylines in the week of January 4 through 8. There’s a wedding, tearful farewell, a miraculous recovery, threats, revelations, blackmail and more. Here’s what you have to look forward to on GH.
Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) are interrupted just as they seem ready to kiss when Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) calls for help with a crisis at home. They have reason to worry about little Jake Spencer (James Nigbor).
Later when Jason gets closer to Sam, Jake acts out towards Sam, perhaps endangering her to keep her from breaking up his mom and dad. Liz takes Jake to GH for an art therapy session with Franco (Roger Howarth) and it looks like he may get through to the troubled kid.
Jason needs a new place to live with no memories and strings attached. Will he go back to the Qs? He also tells Liz he’s there for her as a co-parent and starts to forgive her for her lies. Jason gets a nasty surprise from Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) who leverages him over the fall he took.
Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) wants Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) away from her son and Hayden stuns Nikolas later in the week with info about her shooting. Curtis (Donnell Turner) demands his payday from Hayden.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may know something about Hayden’s past and will work hard, using Hayden, to get ELQ back in Q hands. Laura thinks Tracy should slow her roll but she’s determined to do her father proud.
Things are crazy at Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) mag Crimson as the first issue with Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) as editor is released but a big mistake looms that could cause it to crash and burn – Julian would love that.
Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) plan a quickie wedding with the help of Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) but first there are loose ends to tie up.
Patrick sees Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about his twitching leg and tells him it’s promising but he needs a new doc since Patrick is checking out of GH for good. Looks like Robin has a showdown at GH with Dr Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Robin wins that round.
Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) revenge plans against Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpi) goes into effect. Johnny Zacchara (Brandon Barash) gets Val into trouble at the PCPD. On New Year’s, Lulu turns down Johnny’s efforts to bed her and later wonders exactly what Johnny is up to.
Thursday and Friday’s show will be a wedding event at the Scorpio-Drake house. Guests are invited for a party and shocked to find out it’s a wedding. Even Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) score an invite along with close friends and family including Jason and Liz.
There will also be a surprise guest at the nuptials. The wedding joy will turn into sad goodbyes as Patrick, Robin and Emma prepare to leave Port Charles for good in coming days as Jason Thompson leaves the show for good.
