The Young and the Restless Spoilers: No Adam Newman Answer After Chloe Escapes GC - Return Remains Possible

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that instead of an answer being provided about Adam (Justin Hartley), a separate mystery has been created. Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) escape, after a fight with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), means that more questions now exist than when this stretched arc began.

Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) suspicions were scratched after his head cleared. He needed time to recover from the whirlwind surrounding Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) seeming death, Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) actual demise and Sully’s reveal as his son. Sparked interest in how his brother actually died quickly led to Chloe’s trail.

Those pinged cell phone records, the recovered dart gun and metal wrench, along with Chloe’s deeply suspicious behavior all made sense in reconsidered context. She’d never forgiven the man who (supposedly) killed Delia (Sophie Pollono). Instead, Chloe marked time and wore two faces. One for the world and the other Adam saw on the day she attacked him and later, leaving him for dead.

But The Young and the Restless spoilers ask did Chloe actually kill Adam? Viewers still don’t know. It seems as though that was her exact intent. Yet, this indestructible man can’t be in Heaven, Purgatory or elsewhere, can he? Conjecture involving Chloe holding him hostage would seem hard to imagine. Who would be able to help her with that task and where would that person be keeping Adam contained?

Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) soul has been seared again. He should have known better, but was fooled by the manner in which Chloe approached their third marriage. Here’s hoping that his chipmonk alter ego doesn’t return. Considering the mind game that was played this time, there’s no telling what will become of the person who was repeatedly locked in a closet by Terrible Tom Fisher (played by the great Roscoe Born) all those years ago.

To think that a reformed con like Chelsea allowed Chloe to assail her as she did is incredible. This point appears to be the weakest element of this arc. However, Sally Sussman and her team were limited by last year’s scripts that were created by the last writing regime.
