General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, October 18 Update – Ava’s Startling Collapse – Ryan’s Bloody Mess, Sam’s Setback

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, October 18, teases Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will disagree with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) decision. She thought Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was a lovely girl, but she’ll change her tune now that Sasha’s been exposed as a fraud. Carly will feel like Michael dodged a bullet by finding out and cutting Sasha lose, but she’ll be wrong about that.

Of course, GH fans know Michael stuck with Sasha after he learned the truth. He’s standing by her, so Carly will be left reeling. This will be far too reminiscent of Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) for her taste. Carly will wonder if Michael learned nothing from that fiasco. She won’t understand why Michael’s supporting liar, but he’ll defend Sasha’s motives and insist she’s nothing like Nelle.

Carly won’t be sure she buys that, but she’ll have to respect Michael’s choice. He’s a grown man, so he can date anyone he wants. Over with Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), she’ll be fed up with all the liars in Port Charles. There are certainly a lot of them! Jordan will discuss this problem with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who’ll interrogate yet another dishonest PC resident.

Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) was tasked with handling Sasha’s third DNA test thanks to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) swooped in eventually to make sure that went how he wanted. Once Sasha became ill and faced a test that could expose her, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) forced Brad to take care of it. Brad’s been mixed up in all this Sasha DNA drama, so Curtis will think it’s time to have chat.

Naturally, Brad won’t admit to anything that could get him in trouble. He’ll insist his hands are clean and keep Obrecht’s hands clean, too. Brad definitely doesn’t want to get on Liesl’s bad side. She has the power to blow up Brad’s world, so he’ll try to keep them both out of this on Friday.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Ava Jerome (Maura West) will confide in Laura Webber (Genie Francis). Despite Ava’s initial efforts to push Laura away, she ultimately apologized. Ava’s just dealing with so much emotional turmoil right now, and Laura can understand that. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is still thinking about Ava, so she’ll remain creeped out and distraught over her daughter’s killer.

Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) won’t forgive Ava, but the man who took Kiki’s life remains obsessed. That’s a messed-up situation, so Ava will appreciate Laura’s efforts to help. GH spoilers say Ava will get some good advice, but she’ll wind up collapsing later. Will it be due to stress or something else? Someone was lurking, so it’d be interesting it Ava thought she saw Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) and crumpled in shock.

Across town, Julian Jerome (William deVry) will have some instructions for Brad. He’ll tell his partner in crime how it’s going to be, but Brad will show defiance. General Hospital spoilers say Brad won’t think he has to listen to Julian, so he’ll spark another confrontation. Julian won’t like being told no, but there’s not much he can do. It’s not like Julian’s going to murder Lucas Jones’ (Ryan Carnes) hubby for not cooperating.

Julian can’t break Lucas’ heart by exposing the baby swap truth either. He’d only cause pain and get himself in hot water. It sounds like Brad and Julian will face a stalemate, so we’ll see where they go from here. Over with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), they’ll get some positive updates from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He’ll assure them that the feds’ case is about to fall apart.

Jason believes he got through to Bryce Henderson (Brian Gross), but he doesn’t know his secret weapon’s in danger. Bryce noticed Ryan’s poster of Ava and commented on how attractive she was. He suggested he could look her up once he made a deal and scored his freedom.

Bryce was just kidding around, but that’ll cost him! Ryan looked ready to stab Bryce with that pen – and we all know how skilled Ryan is. He knows exactly where to strike and how to do the most damage. It sounds like Bryce will be dead soon, so Ryan will be glad to have eliminated a rival. He’ll wipe Bryce’s blood off his hand and seem pleased over his gory accomplishment.

Later, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will conduct an investigation. He’ll rile restrained Ryan up and suggest that things are about to get worse for the violent inmate. Ryan may be isolated and lose privileges after more charges are piled on.

Some fantastic scenes are coming up, so don’t miss the bombshells ahead. We’ll keep you posted as other GH news emerges. Stick with the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.
