Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a new leaked audition tape reveals what really happened to Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). DOOL fans know there have been doubts about whether Ciara actually died, but Vincent Belman (Michael Teh) argued that he killed Ciara by shooting her before the car explosion.
However, an audition that was posted to Vimeo spilled the details of what truly transpired. We should note that the names were changed in a poor attempt to disguise who the script was about. We should also note that sometimes details get changed between audition time and when the script hits the air.
Even so, the info contained in this leaked Days audition fits with Ciara’s story exactly. This is most definitely about Ciara Brady Weston – no ifs, ands or buts! Fortunately,
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara is indeed alive based on this audition tape. We’ll recap what was in the now deleted clip to help you understand what’s going on.
The scene starts out with Ciara screaming, but her captor insists no one can hear her and argues all this racket’s futile. He contends that if Ciara’s bored, there’s a whole library at her disposal. Several instances in this clip make it seem like Ciara’s being held in a fancy mansion.
Ciara points out that her captor seems like an OK guy, so she wonders how he could work for a “psycho creep.”
Obviously, Ciara means Vincent (though she calls him “Leo” as part of the disguised name idea we mentioned). The captor shrugs that his employer was always good to him.
“That’s why I agreed when he asked me to pilot the plane and help him escape,” the captor says. “I was flying to the airfield to pick up the two of you, but things didn’t go according to plan. Apparently, a stray bullet struck the gas tank of the car.”
The captor continues the story of Ciara being presumed dead after the explosion. Ciara argues that they wouldn’t believe that, but her captor counters that no one has come looking for her.
They debate about the bullet casing, and Ciara declares that Vincent didn’t start shooting until she was out of the car. “He didn’t get me!” Ciara protests.
Ciara’s captor contends that Vincent convinced her loved ones he shot her as payback – that Ciara was already dead when the car exploded. Since Vincent’s plan literally blew up in his face, Ciara doesn’t understand why this guy’s still doing his incarcerated boss’ dirty work.
The captor maintains that as long as he keeps getting his checks, he intends to hold Ciara hostage.
Ciara talks about how rich her grandfather is, but she fails to talk her way out of captivity. “Which means that you are going to be stuck here for a long, long time,” the captor insists.
Again, the names and certain relative mentions were changed in this audition script, but we’ve just laid it out as the real story for clarity. It’s good to know Ciara is indeed out there somewhere. It’s just a matter of when Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) can figure out the truth and go rescue his wife!
