Tracy pulled a gun on the divorcing couple. She was apparently getting back at Lucious and Cookie for all those years she had to be alone. She told Lucious she loved him. She reminded him how she gave him his firstborn son and he still chose Cookie over her. Tracy was tired of coming in second. She thought if she killed Cookie that there would be room for her and that if she killed Lucious that they would be a family reunited with their son. Tracy was clearly deranged. She lost all control and she was going to murder the couple when Andre came in and he tried to grab the gun. He struggled over it wither. And at the last minute, she got the gun back.

No sooner did she do that when Cookie grabbed a gun. She shot and she killed Tracy. She was later cleared by the cops and so she doesn’t have to worry about that or anything. Yet, Cookie had to go to therapy because she was still struggling with what she did. She also wasn’t the only one to feel like that and so no one knew about Andre. Andre was still seeing Kingsley. Kingsley was there when his mother died and he blamed Andre. He told Andre how angry he was with him. He said the blackouts that Andre has been having had come from him and that he could take over whenever he wanted.

Andre’s hallucinations were now creating a problem with his work. He was supposed to be focusing on the Empire movie and how to best launch it. He had Hakeem come up with a new song. He had press coming to an event and he managed to talk his parents into coming. His father hadn’t wanted to go at first, but Cookie spoke for Lucious and she said he’ll be there. She and Lucious have been getting along a lot better lately. Their marriage was over and it seems they’ve made peace with it. They loved each like no one else did or ever could. Cookie was now ready to put that behind them and she was moving on.

Cookie was focusing on Bossy. She wanted to create a unique identity for the brand and so she was shooting it over with Giselle and Becky when she met Giselle’s younger brother Julian. Julian was around because their mom died. He was now being there for his sister and he was collecting extra at law school as well. That is when he wasn’t being sexually harassed by Becky. The ladies were sorry for his lost and they couldn’t help noticing he and Giselle have the same green eyes. Eyes that stand out. Cookie probably would have been paying more attention to them if she wasn’t focusing on work and so Julian got off lucky.

Andre, on the other hand, had a condition that was getting worse. His wife took their son and went to go stay with family. Teri said she needed time to think. She hated how she hearing all these horrible things about her husband and the shooting with Tracy had been the final straw. It happened mere feet away from her son who was asleep at the time. Teri wonders what would have happened if Tracy had more time and so she couldn’t stay at the house anymore. She needed to live somewhere else and she needed time away from a husband she couldn’t quite trust. And with her out of the picture, there’s no telling how Andre’s condition will deteriorate.

Andre was struggling. Once again his parents were too caught up in their own lives to notice and he didn’t even have Jamal anymore. His brother was out of the picture and Hakeem wasn’t the same. Hakeem has this weird thing where his backslides with Tiana. Tiana was supposed to be in a new relationship and yet that didn’t matter when it came to Hakeem. They were together when they were together and then they go back to co-parenting when they were apart. Hakeem was so wrapped up in his own melodrama that again Andre was being shafted. Andre went to a therapist. He told his problems and the therapist believed he could help him.

Andre knew it would work when Kingsley began freaking out. The hallucination was afraid of going away. He tried to stop Andre from accepting help and he told Andre that he was the reason why they were so successful. Kingsley then threw in Teri. He said Teri wouldn’t want to return to a man who was staying at a hospital and so that’s what convinced Andre to reject help. Andre didn’t want people thinking the worst of him. He didn’t want his wife to second-guess him. Andre left the therapist’s office and he wasn’t going to come back. He thought he could deal with Kingsley on his own.

He was more sure of that than ever when Teri came back. She came back and she even brought the baby. Andre thought that was the best time to tell her what’s been going on. This way he can control the narrative and he could reassure Teri that he had it all under control, but secretly Kingsley was telling him what to say to Teri to get her to accept his “condition”. Teri doesn’t know how bad it is. She doesn’t know that Andre is willfully going along with his hallucination. Andre is becoming more lost by the day and his parents were off doing their own thing. Cookie was pushing her team into doing drugs just to stay awake and Lucious had gotten wrapped up in Yana again.

Yana came to for help. She wanted out from under her father’s thumb and to do that she had to make a career out of her songwriting. Yana never pictured herself becoming a singer. It was Lucious that pushed her to take the chance on herself. He got her in front of an audience and she showed the world how talented she was. Lucious was going back into production. He was taking on Yana as his first client and he wanted to see things through with her. He didn’t forget about the movie premiere trailer event. He still went to it and he ran into Cookie. Cookie who remembered how she killed her sister’s man Durrell and that’s why she was still shaken up after Tracy.

Both parents went to the trailer event. They wanted to support Andre and Cookie started out strong, but she began remembering Durrell’s death and so Lucious had to take over. Lucious thought it was Tracy’s death that was bothering Cookie. He later comforted her and he remained her that they were still family. Divorce or No Divorce. The two of them will always be there for together and they got out on the dance floor to have some fun.

The only one who didn’t join was Andre and that’s because he was watching them and so was “Kingsley”.
