General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, June 11, tease that an action-packed Nurses Ball encore is coming up. In a GH episode that originally aired on May 21, 2019, some big surprises affect several Port Charles residents. There’s some great General Hospital drama that’s worth watching again, so here’s what’s ahead on Thursday.
First, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) explains that he helped Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) record a special message. Oscar left behind this message before he died, and Cam thinks Oscar wanted Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to watch it alone.
Once Cameron leaves, Joss plays the video and gets a reminder to live life to the fullest. Oscar pushes Joss to sing their song at the Nurses Ball.
Josslyn dons her gown for the evening and does one last check in the mirror. She insists she’s doing this for Oscar and takes off. Meanwhile, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) are unconscious near the remnants of the smoldering house in Canada. After Curtis wakes up, he urges Laura to do the same.
At the Nurses Ball, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) steps over to where the ring is on stage and gets down on one knee. After Finn asks Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to marry him, she’s flustered and suggests she doesn’t know.
Finn feels like an idiot and starts to leave the stage, but Anna stops him to accept his marriage proposal. Anna affirms her answer into the mic so the crowd can hear, too.
Outside the main event, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) warns Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to walk away from Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
Kristina feels like Sam’s just going to get hurt, but Shiloh argues that’s not true. Nevertheless, Kristina stands strong and contends that Dawn of Day is a cult. She makes it clear that Shiloh is a despicable liar.
After Shiloh encourages Kristina to return to DOD, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) walks over and tells Shiloh to stay away from his daughter. Sonny sends Kristina off with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), but Shiloh points out that Kristina shouldn’t let her dad control her forever.
Sonny snarls that Shiloh messed with the wrong family – and it’s going to cost him everything.
Over with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), he’s concerned when he can’t reach Laura by phone. Kevin fears Curtis and Laura ran into some Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) trouble, but Ava Jerome (Maura West) wants Kevin to concentrate on their secret plan.
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) takes the stage and is eventually joined by Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) as a surprise guest performer. Next, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) gets a call from Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), so she tries to head somewhere private to take it.
Willow winds up running into Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford), which sends Nina’s drink splashing everywhere.
Nina snaps at Willow, who snaps right back. Willow thinks the only good part about losing her job is the fact that she doesn’t have to take Nina’s crap anymore.
Nina listens in on Willow’s private call and confronts her about having a child. Willow scolds the eavesdropper and suggests Nina’s the reason for Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) problems.
Nina feels like Willow couldn’t even take care of her own kid, so that explains why Willow can’t handle a whole classroom. After the confrontation wraps up, Nina saunters away. Willow looks behind her and finds a furious Shiloh, who’s overheard the child revelation.
In their hotel room, Finn and Anna celebrate their engagement with sparkling cider and lovemaking. Back in Canada, Laura and Curtis get medical attention from paramedics.
After Laura mentions that she’s the mayor of Port Charles, she asks for a helicopter to take her back to PC. Laura can’t reach Kevin, so she leaves him a voicemail.
Cameron gives a sweet performance of a song he wrote before it’s Ava’s turn. While Ava’s performance is going on, Kevin’s unconscious on the floor backstage. Ryan’s gloved hand picks up a rose from the two dozen that were delivered for Ava.
