General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 1, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will wake up startled after a horrible dream – or at least an eerie feeling.
Carly will look around the room in a panic, but she’ll quickly realize she’s alone. There’ll be no sign of presumed dead Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier), but Carly will still fear she could come back.
When Carly divulges this fear to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), he’ll wonder if Carly’s hoping Nelle survived. Carly threatened Nelle’s life in the past, but she never thought Nelle would actually end up dead.
However, Carly’s efforts to stop Nelle led to these unfortunate circumstances. If Nelle hadn’t been running from Carly, she probably wouldn’t have fallen off that cliff.
Carly also lost her grip on Nelle’s hand while trying to pull her up – and now she’s lying to the cops about all these. Despite Nelle and Carly’s long-lasting feud, there’s a certain level of guilt that comes into play here. That may be why Jax thinks Carly’s hoping Nelle’s still alive.
Of course, this could be less about hope and more about dread. Nelle could go after Carly if she turns up alive. As long as there’s no proof of Nelle’s death, Carly will always have to wonder what’s brewing – at least unless Jax can ease her mind.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will struggle to put that kiss with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) out of her head. As Willow replays what it was like, she’ll realize it was remarkably easy to lock lips with her new husband.
Willow may realize she’s moving on from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) quicker than she thought!
GH spoilers say Willow will either reflect on that smooch out loud or confide in someone. Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) might even serve as a snoozing sounding board. Regardless, the point is Willow won’t be able to shake what she’s feeling for Michael.
Michael will also be feeling something special in the aftermath of that kiss. General Hospital spoilers say Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will listen to Michael’s dilemma on Tuesday.
This started out as a marriage for Wiley’s sake – one built on friendship that would help defeat Nelle at the custody hearing. Now that Michael’s falling for Willow, he won’t want to overstep or make her uncomfortable.
That’s especially true after what Willow went through with Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). The last thing Michael wants is for Willow to feel pressured in any way.
Michael also knows that Willow’s still coming to grips with the end of “Chillow.” Willow loves Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) despite what she believes was a major betrayal, so this is all pretty complicated.
Even so, Jason has a knack for making things simple! He’ll think it’s just a matter of Michael coming clean about what he wants. If Willow wants the same thing, then that’s great. If she doesn’t, then Michael and Willow can still remain awesome co-parents and married friends.
Something tells us Willow will want a romantic future with Michael as well, even if she can’t commit right away. Speaking of commitments, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make one on Tuesday.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will commit to doing something extraordinary for his dad. Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) last wish will be granted, so look for Sonny to plan a day to remember.
Next, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will believe the half-heart pendants are vital to her long-lost child hunt. Nina will feel confident this is how she’s going to crack the case.
Although Nina won’t get the firm answers she’s seeking just yet, she’ll manage to take a step in the right direction thanks to Jax’s associate.
While Nina’s meeting brings a breakthrough, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will fight desperately to save Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) life. Too bad that doesn’t seem like a possibility now! Neil’s ice cold and has apparently been dead too long to be rescued.
That won’t stop Alexis from screaming for help and trying to salvage a future with the man she’s fallen for. Sadly, General Hospital spoilers point to devastation for Alexis on Tuesday, so it appears this is the end of the road for Neil. We’ll offer the latest news as other updates roll in.
