The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, February 21, teases that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) latest move will cause major drama. B&B fans know Thomas just asked Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) to marry him, so he’ll be awaiting an answer along with the dinner party guests.
Of course, Thomas is also waiting for Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) outburst, which is sure to be coming. Douglas has already been on the verge of this based on Thomas’ growing connection with Zoe – or at least what appears to be one.
In reality, Thomas is simply using Zoe as part of his plan to win over Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
Douglas, however, sees Zoe as a threat to Hope’s mommy status. This proposal is only going to rile Douglas up and make his fears even stronger. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Douglas will steal the show, so he’ll probably pipe up about how Daddy can’t do this.
Douglas will inevitably pitch some sort of fit that leaves Hope troubled over his well-being.
Whether Douglas scampers off or Hope just pulls him aside, they’ll get a private moment in Friday’s episode. Douglas will be a mess as he makes a heartfelt plea. He’ll feel like any hope of a “Thope” family is slipping away, so he’ll fight to keep that dream alive.
Douglas will probably beg Hope to talk Thomas out of marrying Zoe. He may even plead with Mommy Hope to remarry Daddy instead. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Douglas will also spill a secret during their time together. He’s been keeping something from Hope, but he’ll decide that now’s a good opportunity to blab.
No matter what it is, Hope’s bound to be feel even guiltier over Douglas’ pain. She should also be agitated with Thomas for pushing things so quickly with Zoe. This whole situation is spiraling out of control, so Hope will be desperate to fix it.
Naturally, Thomas is hoping that means Hope will agree to put their family back together.
As for Zoe, she won’t quite be ready to take the marriage plunge with Thomas. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Zoe will make a public request first. She’ll ask Thomas to do something surprising, but he’ll undoubtedly roll with it. Thomas is resourceful and always seems to have another trick in his back pocket.
Will Thomas’ sudden proposal leave Zoe with doubts? This is awfully quick, so her request may involve something that would prove Thomas is truly committed. Then again, Zoe might be worried about Douglas and make a request regarding him. She may not like the idea of marrying unless Thomas can get Douglas on board.
Either way, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, updates and news say Thomas will keep his eye on the prize. He’ll fulfill whatever requirement Zoe has in mind if it keeps the ruse going. Thomas has to stick with it and try to convince Hope to cave in. That’s his goal here, so look for Thomas to keep laying it on thick.
