The Young and the Restless Spoilers Recap: Tuesday, September 15 - Amanda's Hilary’s Twin - Dina's Message - Victor Needles Kyle

The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 15, tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will return from her business trip early and meet with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at Crimson Lights. Nate will have the results from Amanda’s DNA test, and Amanda will hesitate, then look at the results. Afterwards, Nate will ask what’s next, and Amanda will say that she needs to talk with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

At Devon’s penthouse, Devon will talk with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about the situation with Amanda and the DNA test to determine whether Amanda is Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) twin.

Nick will wonder what Hilary would have thought about all of this, and Devon will say that Hilary would have been excited and nervous, but that the bottom line is that Hilary isn’t here to comment.

Nick will take off as Amanda is arriving at the penthouse. Amanda will tell Devon that she got the results from the DNA test and after a few tense moments, Amanda will tell Devon, “Turns out, I’m not as one-of-a-kind as I thought. I had a twin and her name was Hilary.” Devon will stare blankly, trying to absorb the information.

At the Grand Phoenix, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will enjoy a drink by himself. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will approach wondering what Jack is pondering.

Jack will tell Phyllis about the home movie of Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) and the message from his father about how “nothing in this world is more important than finding love.” Jack will explain that it could be a message from Dina.

Phyllis will kindly but firmly tell Jack that this doesn’t sound at all like Dina, who was a powerhouse and not the warm, cuddly type. Jack will at first be disappointed, but then he’ll realize that Phyllis could be right, and that Dina might have been trying to communicate something else with the home movie.

Later, Jack will call Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), saying that they need to watch the movie again. Nick will walk in the lobby at about this time to see Phyllis, and after flirting for a bit, Nick will suggest that Phyllis call Amanda later, as she might need a friend today.

Over at Chancellor Communications, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will continue to woo Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) into accepting his job offer.

After considerable back and forth about their mutual desire to expose Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to the world, Alyssa will indicate that she’s on board. “I’ve never wanted anything more than for this story to blow up Adam’s world,” Alyssa will say.

At Society, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will be picking up takeout when Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) stops her for a chat. Abby will probe for any information on Alyssa, and Chelsea will be careful not to mention the real reason why Alyssa is after Adam – that is, the fact that Adam killed Alyssa’s father years ago.

Abby will go on about how Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) doesn’t seem to be telling her the whole truth about Alyssa, but Chelsea will play dumb. As Chelsea is leaving the restaurant, she’ll spot Billy and Alyssa walk in for a meal. Chelsea will immediately know that something big is going on.

At the Newman Ranch, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will arrive to visit with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Summer will step out of the room for a moment, and Victor will enter while Kyle is there alone.

Victor will put Kyle on the spot, pointing out that Kyle’s a married man who’s shacking up with his granddaughter. Kyle will hold his own and do his best to explain how he loves Summer and that he’s made mistakes but owns them.

Summer will approach from the other room, and she’ll interrupt, upset with Victor’s line of questions for Kyle. Summer will be about to blurt out that she and Kyle are engaged, but Kyle will interrupt her and prevent her from doing so.

When Victor steps out of the room, Summer will wonder why Kyle didn’t let her tell Victor about their engagement. “What kind of man would that make me?” Kyle will ask. “He was defending your honor and it was a beautiful thing.”
