Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) is out on bail, but he might manage to avoid legal ramifications if he plays his cards right. Charlie seems to have a great lawyer, so he might get off the hook and keep his freedom.
That could leave certain Salemites in grave danger, especially if a romantic shakeup gets underway.
DOOL fans can expect Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) to kick off a mission to find Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) for February sweeps. Since Ben will believe Ciara is alive, it seems like Days writers are sticking with “Cin” for now.
Ben adores Ciara and has no reason to cheat on his wife if he’s desperately fighting to reunite with her.
What does that mean for Claire’s romantic future? It’s possible Ben could lose hope eventually and turn to Claire, but Days of Our Lives could just as easily head in another direction. After all, Claire and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) have a history.
Before Claire found out about Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape allegations against Tripp, Claire reconnected with him and thought maybe they’d have another chance at romance. The only reason that didn’t pan out was because Allie accused Tripp of assaulting her.
Then, Charlie entered the picture and Claire fell hard for her new boyfriend – all while remaining oblivious to his London secret. Now that Charlie has been revealed as Allie’s true attacker, Claire’s going to need someone to learn on.
Since Claire got hurt by putting her heart out where with somebody new, she might gravitate toward Tripp’s familiar embrace and comfort. Claire always felt like she was in competition with other women when she was with Tripp, but they’ve both grown and changed since then.
It’s easy for Claire to see the potential for a fresh start.
Of course, this would be incredibly soapy considering Charlie believes Claire is his soulmate and clearly hates his half-brother. Tripp will have a giant target on his back if he gets back together with Claire.
That’d be a surefire way to rile Charlie up, so there’s no predicting what Charlie might do next.
Allie will need some time to process her trauma, particularly after her upcoming hypnosis session. There’s a good chance Allie and Tripp will become a couple at some point, but this poor girl has been through a lot and needs to heal first.
Plus, it could be a while before Allie can view Tripp in a new light due to her previous accusations.
In the meantime, it might be a great opportunity to let some drama play out through Tripp and Claire’s reconnection. Jealous Charlie could really lose it if “golden boy” Tripp – the half-brother who gets everything – gets Claire, too!
